Summer (March - June)

How To Reach

By Air

You can book a flight up to Guwahati, and take a cab to Shillong or Kaziranga. Direct flights till Shillong are also available, although they are less in number and cost more.

By Rail

There are numerous trains to Guwahati station from where cabs and shared vehicles till both Kaziranga and Shillong are readily available.

By Road

Although the journey is quite tiresome, many people often enjoy the long drives and curved roads while travelling all the way to Shillong, Kaziranga and other northeast tourist destinations.
