Amruthabharadhwaj's 7 days trip to Ladakh

Well organised trip for a best rate. Great Accomodations provided. Provided Innova for long distance travel which was very much comfortable. Suggestion would be to accomodate few additional sight seeing for the 2nd day since the itinerary gets over in half a day. Better to have a single driver for the entire trip. The driver who came for Airport pick up and took us for sight seeing in the secod day was not quiet responding. Best memory was chilling Pangong Lake and calm & very beautiful Nubra Valley till the last village of India, Turtuk. Mid of October even though chilling offers you great scenic beauty of this region with fall colours. Invest in good quality glouses and Jacket if planning in October.

Junaid's 6 days trip to Ladakh

It was 26th of May: air was hotter than usual days in Delhi and I was ready to depart from T2 (GoAir) for my destination i.e. Leh. Early in morning I alighted at Kaushik Bakula rimpochee airport and mobile was a device to check time only because I had Vodafone postpaid. As I came out from arrival lobby, a young chap of 26 year was waiting outside with placard of my name and I felt there more cold there than peak cold of new Delhi during winter. Young chap i.e. Ashgar was familiar with local road and address of hotel but he was not candid. So I started conversation with him and he told me that my hotel Arya is 15 minutes away from airport and within 15 minutes I was at my hotel. This hotel Arya is situated at Karzoo road and little inside from road but close to main leh market area. Hotel staff was humble and their food is homely. I checked in hotel and start to feel suffocating due to lack of oxygen, consequently my migraine catalysed then I took my first pills and a healthy sleep to acclimatized with local weather conditions. In late evening I visited local Leh Market which was 15-20 minutes away from hotel then came back for dinner. Next morning after breakfast journey begins to explore leh Ladakh, MAGNETIC HILL, GURDWARA SHRI PATTHAR SAHIB,CONFLUENCE OF THE ZANSKAR & INDUS,ALCHI GOMPA and Hall of Fame were eye-catching spots of day but Hall of Fame was a place where we can see the memories of our brave soldiers. Next day i.e. 29th May was the day of long-lasting memories of Khardungla where you feel proud on BRO because it's difficult to construct a motorable pass in such a variable terrain and weather conditions. Hats off to BRO members for construction and maintenance of high altitude road. Frozen mountains and snow fall were mesmerizing events of the Khardungla Pass. At Khardungla Pass, I vomited like common human being because there was lack of oxygen and I was facing breathing problem though the untouched natural beauty were capable enough to heal anyone. Road from downfall of Khardungla Pass to Hunder Village was parallel to Indus (?) river and anyone can fall in love with Turquoise blue river, white snow peak, cold breeze and meandering roads. Same day in the evening I visited DESKIT GOMPA situated in DESKIT Village where colourful Stupa of Buddha look like rainbow in rainy days. My next excursion was camel riding at Hundar and camel riding on whitish sand dunes was a pleasant memory of the evening then after I checked in Ladakh Summer Camp at Nubra valley. Ladakh Summer Camp was very clean, green and staff were also decent but food quality may be improved. After awaking early in morning and taking breakfast at Camp, I left the camp for my next destination i.e. Pangong lake but the natural views in between Nubra valley and Pangong lake were leaving deep imprints. Twist and turn of roads, colourful river at road side, shadow of clouds and white sand dunes were much more beautiful than my above narrations. After leaving behind the white sand dunes you will get a chance to see the first look of Pangong lake and you can't control yourself without praising the lake beauty. There I stayed at Ladakh Summer Camp but this camp was better than previous one due to its location near to lake where you feel cold air. Crystal clear Turquoise Blue Water of Pangong lake, earthy brown mountains, white clouds, clear blue sky, snowy mountain peaks, rapids of cold air, local ladakhi music and tranquility of nature were perfect ingredients for Leh Ladakh trip. Next morning I left Pangong for Leh and checked in hotel Arya in afternoon. Tips: 1) Carry one woolen coat in cabin bags. 2) Carry medicine for headache, vomiting, fever etc 3) Carry some camphor to avoid cold, headache 4) Take full rest on first day of arrival otherwise your upcoming days will be spoiled 5) Don't eat too because destinations are far from each other which involves lot of traveling. 6) Carry a sunglass compulsory 7) Don't carry babies or children below 10yrs 8) carry one or two light shade cloth or summer clothes for Nubra valley 9) Don't eat at Magnetic hill restaurant and at Hundar village restaurant because they serve third quality food. 10) Don't spend too much time at single place so that you might cover and see all destinations enthusiastically 11) Carry postpaid Airtel or BSNL sim cards only otherwise your mobile will be larger size clock and smaller size camera 12) Carry medicine for altitude sickness but don't take unless emergency situation 13) Don't exhaust yourself physically because lack of oxygen may screw you more. Thanks to Travel Triangle and Amazing India for providing assistance to me and other travelers. Junaid Ahmad

Sachin's 5 days trip to North East

My Meghalaya trip is upto the mark and I really enjoyed it a lot, but I also had some bad experiences with the hotels and services agent. 1) Hotel phoenix residency shillong: stay at shillong hotel was good, breakfast is also good. 2) Hotel 7 sisters falls view inn, cherrapunji: I had very bad experiences with this hotel and service of travel agent here. This hotel lack basic amenities in the room and also very less options for the breakfast. Prior to booking I was offered cherrapunji holiday resort by the agent and after confirming we agreed to go with the cherrapunji holiday resort but after making payment the travel agent informed me that he cannot provide the cherrapunji holiday resort instead of this hotel he could provide 7 sisters falls view inn. I felt bad at that time but no other options left for me I had to stay in 7 sisters fall hotel which was quite pathetic in respect of basic amenities. *Travel agent booked the hotels at shillong and cherrapunji without breakfast but I paid the price for the hotels with breakfast. After knowing this I called travel agent and he assured me that hotel would provide breakfast. After reaching there hotel staff informed me that my rooms was booked without breakfast and after discussion with hotel staff and agent the breakfast was provided to me. This was very bad experience I had experience there. 3) Ka bri war, Dawki: hotel at dawki ka bri was was superb, I really enjoyed staying here, breakfast was awesome, view from hotels was mind-blowing.

Travel agent was very nice and courteous. They were also available whenever needed. However, they were not as well coordinated as my earlier experiences with TravelTriangle. In every trip, driver was like the second tour guide. Driver and the travel agent would be in perfect sync WRT itinerary, hotels experience etc. In this trip, the driver had not met the agent even once. The same was true with hotels booked. They did not even recognize the travel agency name. As a side effect, we had several confusions including our pickup times, right places to visit on right days etc. I personally had to do sufficient research while on the trip to readjust plans, schedules etc. Another example is the last place we stayed in Tawang. While people were really nice and helpful. Agent did not seem to know that there were road closures and road repairs to reach this place from a month. We reaching there at night and struggling by ourselves to find this place was exhausting to say the least. I also expected better tour plan suggestions from the agent and alternatives. Looks like many things were taken for granted. Arunachal pradesh as a place is a beauty! Loved every place we visited. Struggled a bit with clean food options during road travels, especially we being vegetarian, but that was ignorable. Despite all this, it was a memorable trip and I will use TravelTriangle again, but will have to be more careful about agent's experience and involvement. River Boating in Bhalukpong, Snow in Sela Pass and the beautiful but ferocious Jung falls

Overall The Trip Was Good. The only problem we had was initially with the Cab Driver who didn't gave any information about the city and where we are travelling and what time we should be ready next day, but then the travel agent changed the driver after 2 days and the new Cab driver was really good which actually made our trip way better. Also one more review I want to give is Agent should guide us about the hotels we are selecting which should be near to the location we are travelling the next day, so the travel is less and we can explore more places. Elephant Safari, Elephant falls, Noigrat Trek & Dawki River & Candle Light Dinner some of the best memories.

Aruna's 7 days trip to North East

We customized a tour in Assam-Meghalaya through Unexplored Trip for 7D6N. We had an enjoyable time in the wild, in the nature, in the rain that Cherrapunjee is so famous for and soaking in the rich culture of Assam. About Unexplored Trip: What was done well: 1. Closing on the quote - all travel agents do this well! 2. Customizing the trip to include Double Decker, which was a top priority for us 3. Gave us very thoughtful gifts on day 1. We appreciated this more than anything else because we got to enjoy the local culture by donning a part of their local clothing What could have been better: 1. Customer Service - Closing on a customer (booking the trip) is not the end of the relationship. The agency didn't make an effort to communicate progress (hotel booking, safari booking at Kaziranga etc) and even Travel Triangle was unreachable. I had to keep following up on multiple little things and when I couldn't reach any of them for a couple of days, I almost panicked that I was conned. There was no proactive reach-out to provide critical information needed for the travel. Second, there was no check point with us once the trip started. This is not a good thing. If you want the customer to be satisfied, have a couple of check points to see how they are settling down and if anything needs to be adjusted. 2. Be upfront about how much extra all the entry fees is going to come to - No guidance on what's really worth seeing and what's not and which places have entry fee (which is all of them!). Most of the falls were a waste of money because you see them from far away, especially the Seven Sisters. As tourists, we rely on locals to give us this information so we can utilize our money effectively. 3. Some of the 3 star hotels weren't maintained well. This is not a reflection on the travel agency but I think they should consider this when booking other customers 4. Last but not least, use discretion when a customer complains about the driver - It went fine the initial few days and then we had a conflict with the driver which I expressed to the travel agent I was talking to. I had expected some discretion but because the travel agent complained immediately to the vendor and the vendor called and yelled at the driver, we had to deal with crap for the next 2 days. So, if you are going to complain to the vendor immediately, make sure you change the driver instead of letting the customer deal with it. Also, why was this driver assigned to us if other customers had already complained about him?!

Hotel rating :7 Cab rating:6 Agent support:7 Overall score :7 I faced multiple cab issues right from the beginning.. driver provided to me was aged & not in good health condition. I gave him medicines & treatment.. He was not feeling well till our 3rd day of our tour..I drove car for more than hour to Ranikhet as he made such mistakes that we loose confidence in his driving..otherwise driver was cooperative friendly..we reachd 2 hrs late at Ranikhet due to wrong road selected... After complaining they told me that they will change the driver but they didn't..hotels were selected by us in options given to us..Himalayan Voyage at Ranikhet was good in terms of food & location..Corbet wild iris resort & Seasons by experience at Nainital was good in terms of location but food was average.. In Overall our journey we thought that we were not able to cover maximum sightseeing spots as we were provided with wrong iternary..We lost maximum of our time in travelling only..like corbett museum & falls was in between our journey to Ranikhet...also Bhimtal was in between Journey from Ranikhet to Nainital..so we could have covered them in between..
