Sadaqat's 4 days trip to Kerala

We managed to have a good trip thanks to Travel Unbounded team. Rain played spoil sport in Houseboat. The houseboat was given in Kumarakom while the vouchers had it in Allepey! Houseboat needed much of cleanliness. But food was delicious and crew were very nice. TT has very bad cancellation policies. In a human society plans do go haywire but TT deducts hefty amounts in case of cancellation. And the tour guide Varsha was simply unreachable and messed up entire thing when she picked call. High time TT to become customer friendly else no point paying a platform aggregator substantial amounts for almost nothing... But Travel Unbounded helped ensure overall good expereince. Driver Mr Praveen was excellent gentleman. Happiness was when the weather unexpectedly becomes clear in Munnar and houseboat. 1. Stay was changed near to our trip start date – the stay was good but not better than what was originally mentioned. 2. Assigned driver missed some visiting points deliberately – Echo point, Eravikulam National Park, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Marare beach. 3. House boat was in Kumarakom, and not in Allepey (as mentioned).

Soumya's 7 days trip to Kerala

My review on this entire trip is 3, felt expensive. Day 1 &2- Trivandram to Kovalam. Rooms were not arranged though we had said we are coming early. We had to shell additional money and make alternate arrangements. Later checked in to neelkantha, good location and awesome view. Walking is more, not suggested for old aged people. Rooms are old , and we had leakages, they changed room upon request. Overall kovalam experience was 4/5 Day 3- Kovalam to Alleppey. Last minute location was changed to kumarakom, not sure if it was to save money. Boat house was old and add wood powder falling on us whole night. We didnt have any other option, so had to survive. The only good was food and people. Boat house-2/5 Food and people-5/5 Day 4- thekkedy Best stay and food of entire itenary.  5/5 Day 5&6- Munnar Day 5- hotel cant be rated even as 2 star , ad no proper arrangement for food and leisurely activities. Later upon request hotel was changed and it was pretty ok for day 6 its 4/5 Day 7- Guruvayoor Ok, cant expect much from temple town after seeing all 6 days experience Day 8- cochin Very bad hotel, infact no proper service and have language barrier Overall my trip planning experience with travel triangle is 3/5. Not recommended and not planning to use in future. - Soumya Frequent Traveller

Kalyan's 7 days trip to Kerala

We opted for 4N/5D trip that covers Munnar(2days),Thekkedy(1day),Kumarakom boat stay(1day). Lalith from back2travels suggested very nice stays and he is so patient and answered all our questions and clarified all doubts. He also gave us a good deal when compared to other travel websites.Cab Driver "Martin Joseph" is with us in the whole trip.He is a nice photographer, guide and an all rounder.Coming to the places , we visited Cheeyapara, varala waterfalls, tea museum,Mattupatty dam etc in Munnar. Don't miss pottas farm yard where you can feed fish and it's a different experience feeding fish on bamboo boats. On the way to Thekkedy we visited spice gardens and elephant camp.Kumarakom Boat stay is normal and don't expect too much scenic spots. Also the stay is very normal. My recommendation is to book a resort which is deeply rooted in the nature to experience the beauty of it.Normal resorts doesn't give you much happiness.Kerala is a place where we have to stay in a nature resorts for a week and enjoy the sounds of nature.
