Chamarel Tour Packages

The I Need Trip travel agents co-ordination was outstanding. The process was smooth and without much problem. The only problem I faced is the fact that I had to coordinate and explain things multiple times with multiple people from I Need Trip because I planned 6 months in advance but everyone was super helpful. So 5 stars to I Need Trip. But I felt dissatisfied with the South Tour as it was mentioned something else in the package while booking against what was actually offered during my trip. The agent Island Walk in Mauritius was not so good. South tour could have been made great by being little bit transparent to us. As per my package we were supposed to visit Chamarel Village and 7 colored earth and Chamarel Waterfall but to my surprise we were taken to a different place called La Vallee Des Couleurs Nature Park where it was evident that the agent might have had some settings with the management and all the services offered there were over priced. I did not like the change in the tour as per their convenience. But we couldn't do much as we were on our honeymoon. Next time I'll think multiple times before booking such packages from any agent on TT.

Booked Family trip (2 Adult+1 infant)Mauritius trip with Timeless Trips Private Limited thru travel Triangle, Which I will not recommend to anyone. Because I felt cheated at every single day compare to other travel company service. They handover our trip to SEASIDE Holidays Mauritius which having 1 star ratings and Be-aware tag line(Wow). 1. On very first day of arrival they showed their poor service. Local GSM sim card was included in my package but it was missing in welcome kit. So I contacted Sahil Rajput (Post sales guy) to sort it out this situation. he asked some time to resolve this and replied me as "its system miss. and he will check and update me". After waiting whole 2 days he never replied me until unless I asked him again. This time his answer was " I checked with reservation for this but due to system miss it can't be arranged. Also it was a complimentary service". I told him there was not a single word mentioned about Complimentary in my Itinerary. Finally I paid around 3000 rs for my India Vodafone sim for in case of emergency(Because I was traveling with infant). I asked refund but again they can't refund because it was complimentary service which I totally disagree because same tour operator gave sim card those booked same trip via MMT. This is showing there poor service. 2. One second day they took us to Île aux Cerfs As usual tour operator took us to island for water sports and gave us only 1.30 hr for water sports(consider a long queue because every single MRU visitor come here to do water sports) and 1.00 Hr to visit+ lunch(Lunch only took 1 Hr) which was very less. The island is Beauty of Mauritius and 1.00 hr is way less for enjoying the beauty. They dropped us to hotel at 4.30 pm only. Very short trip. It can be additional 1.30 hour easily but Not for Indian visitors. Because I had a chat with other country people in Hotel and all had very good experience of island. 3. Third day North visit In the beginning of trip Tour operator inform us it will be a shortest trip. Started with Jambo shopping to buy water+daily snacks+baby food+liquor. Then he took us to Port Louis and gave us only 2.30 hrs to lunch/visit and shopping(No local market at all) which was again very very less time for visiting Port Louis. It is capital of MRU and many thing to watch. even he skipped many attraction of Mauritius because they want to drop us back to hotel at 4-4.30pm and send the bus back for Airport pick/drop service. 4. Last day South visit As per tour operator told us it will be a longest tour of MRU. So journey started from Volcano->Ganga Talao->Ship shop+Craft Shop(both are kind of Seaside's commission/cut shop, So expect high prices)->La Vallee Des Couleurs Nature Park(Where a Veg thali cost you more than 5 star buffet meal, One extra glass of water cost is 50 MRU rs. Then they showed a Fake/artificially created 32 color earth and adventure park Where one cheapest ride cost is more then Imagica adventure park fee) They will never took us to Chamarel Which is main beauty of Mauritius where I felt cheated again. Even if you tell them they will never listen and tell us Like that is not worth it. which is a totally lie. I had word with many other group people which been many more places in Mauritius. Please improve your service and don't cheat Indians.

Dear Sir/Madam, Today we returned from the Mauritius tour booked through your agency.The experience was very good,except for few things.I wish to comment on following aspects on behalf of my group: 1.Air Mauritius flight and flight booking: No problem 2.Villas Mon Plaisir Hotel: Excellent location and good service 3.Food (Break fast and Dinner): Fantastic 4.Air port-Hotel pick up and drop: Good, on time 5.Sight seeing: All three days they don't bother about what sight seeing spots you have given, but they follow their own rout.Hence they didn't cover the following spots: i)Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanic Garden ii)Seven Coloured Earth in Chamarel iii)Bagatelle - Mall of Mauritius Also on the day of North Island Tour they give the time up to 3 pm only and drop to hotel at 4 pm.This time should be increased by 1 or 1.30 hrs. So in general everything is fine, but it is advised to instruct them to follow your sight seeing schedule.

I booked Mauritius Land package with Travel Triangle - Youngistan Trvellers for 5 Days & 4 Nights tour I will share my tours daywise detail/experience Tour - Day 1 - Arrival - We met local tour operator who work for india tour operator in Mauritius, They provided us tour voucher which was incorrect as it mentioned as 4 days 3 night tour but this issue is taken care by youngistan traveller agent Mr. Nitin and we need not to take headache, thanks to Nitin!! We opted private airport transfer which we got on time (good part), hotel drop Day 2 - North Island tour - Started morning 9.30 am, SIC basis transfer where all other tourist from different tours are clubbed together, We visited jail terrace and from there had view(just view) of champ de Mars race course view (30 mins for this point) and one mall in Mauritius (Le Caudan)where operator given 3 hours to explore mall, shopping and to have lunch there Day 3 - Ile Aux Cerf tour - Its all water activity tour, they took us to booking point for various activities.. (For us it was a waste day as we were not interested in activities, so we opted to take private cab by paying separate and explored few places by own) Day 4 - South Island tour - First point ship factory, then visited shopping points, later volcano view, ganga talao and 23 colored earth >>Ship factory - factory worker will explain about how they make ship, later shopping of same if you are interested, >> Shopping point - not really reasonable rates if compared other places, (e.g. outside botanial garden for magnets was cheaper which we visited by own) >> Volcano is ok place to visit >> Ganga talao is good place, nice hindu lord shiva temple >> 23 color earth (it is different from chamarel - 7 color earth) - here is lunch stop, our local tour representative told us you have to wait even if you are hungry because we are going to have food in property where 23 colored land is(disappointing) We reached there for Lunch, too much expensive thali ( Veg MRU 375(INR 1561 for 2) & Non-veg MRU 400) they serve with 1 chapati very small quantity of rice and in case you need more chapati then you have to pay MRU 50 (i.e. INR 125 for 1 chapati) which is not at all worth, also you will get only 1 glass of water if you need extra you need to buy it. Later you will be visiting 23 colored land for which they will say you need to do 2 hours trek if you really want to see this place else you an pay and opt for quad biking, zipline, nepalease bridge or jeep safari to reach there.. but in reality that place is not far and can be reach in 10-15 mins walk max. No transperany from anyone regarding this place. Day 5 Departure Overall Trip - OK, more commercial tour like you travel Mauritius just for shopping and activities Hotel - Good, Staff Good Food - Always serve cold food, less options for vegeterians

I chose Youngistan's 6N, 7D Mauritius package and it was all great when I was looking at quotes. Youngistan representative Megha was extremely responsive when I asked questions and asked for customization. However, once my payments were made, it was a different story. I was travelling solo and was facing some issues in Mauritius with the cab agency that Youngistan had tied up with. I contacted Megha and surprise, surprise, there was no response. At all. That is their service - you are on your own once you have coughed up the money and the agent has made their commission. General feedback on Mauritius packages - the south tour is not that great unless you like looking at the crater of a dormant volcano. Chamarel, too, is not for everyone either. I found it beautiful. If you want to book a package, please get it customized. Check out Casela national park or book a catamaran cruise (pricey but definitely worth the experience).

Overall a very memorable trip. Neha from Travel Fish was very helpful and tried her best to accomodate our requests but the itenarary could have been a bit more flexible. Giving continuously 3 days of tours South, North and Ile aux Cerfs without a break was tiring..had to skip the North tour as 1st day South tour was a long one and tiring. Though we don't regret skipping the North tour as there's nothing much to see as was told by other fellow travellers from our hotel as most of the time is given for Central Mall which is full of branded expensive shops. Regarding South tour not including 7 coloured earth at Chamarel was disappointing and instead including the visit to Diamond factory was a total waste of time!! Hotel Ravenala Attitude, a very good one, good location, great activities at the beach, varied choice of food (a bit limited for vegetarians), good entertainment programs in the evening, great pool, good staff (except housekeeping..very slow or not responsive at times), rooms spacious but somewhat basic and allocated too faraway (10 mins walk) from reception area and beach. Close access to Maritim Dive centre (5 mins) walk from the beach side) from this hotel was an added advantage and my son had a wonderful experience of open water diving with them. Good support from Seaside Holidays at Mauritius though they can improve the itenarary for South and North trips!! Casela Park our add on request was well arranged by Mr Anurag though apart from Lion interaction, nothing new if you have visited safaris and bird parks elsewhere. A request to Travel Triangle ....kindly give an intial briefing to first time customer on the process especially receiving multiple quotes and continuous calls and messages from tour operators is chaotic to handle!! Activities at the Hotel Ravenala Attitude beach, Ile aux Cerfs tour, Scuba diving experience at Maritim Dive Centre are the best memories of our trip.

The moment we were driving towards the hotel, we were convinced that Mauritius was the perfect destination to start the journey of our married life. The hotel was really courteous and beautiful. We had a good view of the beach from our room. The highlights of our trip were definitely the ones to Aux Cerf Island and Casela Bird Sanctuary. Although we missed a day due to bad weather, the walk around the neighborhood of the hotel was just awesome. The South and North trips were decent. Only the visit of the chamarel for us was particularly eye catching. Quad biking in Casela Bird Sanctuary and Underwater Sea walk

It was a pleasant experience to plan our trip via Fly away trips (Travel Triangle). We appreciate the patience and effort made by our travel agent Mr. Praveen Arora (Fly Away Trips). Unlike other travel agents, he made sure that everything went smooth from Mumbai – Mauritius – Mumbai. The trip was memorable & cherishing as it was our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time in Mauritius. The beaches were scenic and absolutely stunning. Local people were very generous and friendly. Tourist spots pretty much a paradise. Water sports were apt for high adrenaline junkies. The Hotel (Anelia) was perfect place to stay, which was right on the beach. It added a lot of value to our overall experience. The staff were polite. Food & beverages were delicious too. We were fortunate enough to choose Fly away trips among so many agencies. All my queries were answered, promptly. All the representatives & cab drivers were well informed and helpful. Suggestions: The trip to Port-louis was not so entertaining. It would have been better if we had been taken to some of the beaches or any other location. The quality of photographs taken during water sports/activities to be improved further. I had a wonderful time in Mauritius and enjoyed a lot but sorry to say it was all because of the like minded people I met. I was disappointed with you guys from the travel agency point of view. I have travelled thru many different travel agencies to different places but didnt face any issues like this. Please find my experience below and suggest to take some action on it. 1. The reason for choosing Travel Triangle/Tour O World was its itenary. But to my shock it was changed when I landed in mauritius. The itenary i got from team(Seaside holidays) at airport was completely different that I had choose. Along with day by day schedule, the places of visit where also different. 2. I had plans to visit places like Palempolus Garden, Chamarel, Seven color of earth etc. to name few which were present in the itenary(which i had choose), but they were not included itenary i received at airport. As I had desired to visit these places, i did it with my own expense which was very disappointing since along with the entrance fees i had to pay huge travelling charges for every place. We(per couple) had to pay around 5000 mauritian rupees to visit all these mentioned places thru private cabs(SIC basis). This was the cost just because I had convinced 2 more couple to travel with us and the expense just got reduced. If I had to vist the places alone, it would have cost alot. I would like you to take some action on this issuse and provide refund for the expenses caused to me. 3. We were taken to places like shopping malls(not one but 3 shopping malls), to a place which they said as church but from no where it was church, ADAMS diamond showroom etc. When i am in Mauritius on my honeymoon trip, why would i like to visit malls, diamond showrooms. 4. In the itenary it was mention that i would receive a SIM card on arrival, to my shock again I was told they don't provide SIM cards. So the only option left for me to communicate with family back in India was to pay per call. Whatsapp call was one option but couldnt go ahead since the Wifi was not present in the Hotel rooms. Need to be at reception, which was the only place the wifi worked and that too disconnected too frequently. I had not expected this. 5. The point of contact in Mauritius was Mr. Saif and he was very rude and arrogant person. He used to share very limited info, didn't respond to the questions asked and ignored them as if he didn't care. This was the case for all the 3 times he met us. On the very first day, we were only informed that he would meet us once we are in hotel(we reached hotel at 12PM), but he didn't showed up. He showed up late in the evening around 8PM without informing. I happen to pass by the reception lobby when I noticed few members(with whom me came) were chatting with a guy. When I asked about Saif at reception they told me that guy is the same person. So I apologize to him for coming late but he just completely ignored me and didn't even care to respond to my questions. One of the couple shared info they had received from Saif to me. I really didn't appreciated this nature. You should seriously do something about it. The only thing that made my stay awesome was the people i met there(the people travelling with me) and the guide named Shashi. They were fun to be with. It was a wonderful trip right from the start till the end.... Flights were on time.. the support from travel agencies- Insane travels (Arpit) & Sea side (Ashish/Manoj) was very good... U get two days of leisure, use one for Casela Park visit if u are nature and animals lover....one day can be used for the southern island trip if the budget permits... three days of tour to - North, South & Ile Aux Cerfs Islands will cover most of the places and will be enjoyable..the hotel- tropical attitude is nice with the beach in front of the room gives a really nice view....and good for the vegetarians... all in we enjoyed the trip and will recommend the place and agents to everyone for their honeymoon in future.. Memories- Tube ride was awesome....under sea walk is must...trip to casela park was memorable.... Tips- try to book the water sports in advance (may be when u book the whole deal).... For agents- In south trip, visit to chamarel was not done which was a slight turn off...
