Singapore Tour Package From Kochi

The island-state of Singapore is a model for financial affluence, cultural diversity and social cohesiveness for the entire world. It is also a tropical country with a number of great tourist spots.
It is essentially a conglomeration of 63 islands, each one of which has its own history and mythologies attached to them, and are extremely beautiful.

It is perhaps because of all of those reasons that Singapore has become a major tourist attraction throughout the year. It is one of the most recognizable places to go as a place for a trip too, which shows the incredible reputation that it has been able to build over time as a vibrant city with little to no hassles. People from India often visit Singapore for a fun visit and even you can book a Singapore Tour Package from Kochi for about a week and have a great holiday. If you are feeling more adventurous, you can even book a singapore malaysia tour package from kochi, but Singapore is absolutely unmissable.

A singapore package from kochi or a singapore malaysia tour from kochi would probably be attractive for you regardless of whether you look for more natural spots for your trips, enjoy being in metropolitan areas more, or even just enjoy experiencing the cultural and religious vibrancy of the place you visit. You can engage in a number of adventure sports, stay as a recluse in one of the many islands that are relatively untouched or enjoy the many festivals that happen throughout the year. The trip, from the standards of an international trip, is relatively economical as well, and so is a financially sound choice for a trip as well.

Ideal time to Visit

Singapore has a highly varied collection of tourists’ spots that you can visit and enjoy any time during the year. Depending on which Singapore Tour Package from Kochi you take, you can visit different places around the island state. A 5-7 days’ visit to Singapore however, should be enough for you to explore everything that you want to explore.

Best Time to Visit

Singapore has a uniform temperature of around 26-27 degrees all year around, so making season-specific choices here isn’t a necessity. Packing light clothes that one would normally wear in the summers is a perfectly good choice. Singapore’s the perfect holiday destination for a shopping getaway, family trip, or even an island escapade. You can make choices for the Singapore Tour Package from Kochi depending on the major attractions in the island during different times of the year.

January to March

The months of January to March are disproportionately vibrant from a purely cultural standpoint. Visiting during these months, one would inevitably encounter some religious or otherwise cultural celebration. The most notable ones would be the celebration of the Chinese New Year, which takes place somewhere in January or February; and the Chingay Parade where performers take to the streets to honour Chinese deities like Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. If you love participating in cultural celebrations, getting a Singapore Tour Package from Kochi for this time would be a great option.

April to July

These months are the driest, and so hydration is the most important for visitors during this time of the year. The summer is also enjoyable for a lot of people though, because for a number of religious and cultural reasons, including the ending of the month of Ramadan, there is a lot of commercial activity and recreational activities happening all around the state. Further, this is also the best time to try out some of the most famous haunts (of Singapore) for fishing or scuba diving.

August to December

These months see some spells of rain, but it never becomes prohibitively dreary. Further, a variety of religious festivals from Deepawali and Christmas, political events like Independence Day, and other important occasion-related parties like the New Years’ party at the Siloso Beach are amazing places to visit when you’re in the state.

How to Reach

By Air

Both Kochi and Singapore Island are important commercial and cultural hubs, and as such are well connected via air. The Singapore Changi Airport is the international airport that serves Singapore, and one can take a flight from Cochin International Airport and get a flight that will take around 7 hours to take you from Kochi to Singapore, travelling a distance of approximately 3200 kilometers.

By Road

The trip by road is prohibitively long, with international tolls at different international borders. One would have to procure an international driving license, and then travel from Kochi to West Bengal, and then enter Bangladesh, then re-entering India, and then going (in this order) in Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia before reaching Singapore. The distance is about 6,900 KM and will take about 4 days of continuous driving.

By Train

Unfortunately, there is no train from Kochi to Singapore.

We recently took a family trip to Singapore from CHILLSAFAR ( tushar and his co) and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and stress-free vacations we’ve had. The city is incredibly clean, safe, and well-organized, which made traveling with kids very comfortable. Public transport is exce
llent—easy to understand and very convenient for getting around without relying on taxis. There are plenty of family-friendly attractions. Universal Studios was a big hit with the kids, and places like the zoo, Night Safari, and Gardens by the Bay were equally impressive. Sentosa Island is perfect for a full day of fun and relaxation. Food was never an issue—there are endless options, including Indian restaurants and vegetarian choices. Hawker centres are great for trying different cuisines at reasonable prices. The only downside is that Singapore can be quite expensive, especially when it comes to hotels and attraction tickets. Also, the weather is hot and humid, so be prepared for that, especially if traveling with children. Overall, Singapore is a fantastic destination for families—safe, entertaining, and very easy to explore. Highly recommended, especially for a first international trip with kids.we will revisit in future with them

From the time of landing, pickup to the hotel was smooth. At the hotel reception, rep mentioned that the room we have booked will not be sufficient to us as the triple room is too small to fit all of us and the agent should have informed about it earlier. When we got into the room it was indeed too
small and it was difficult to manage with kids. The 2nd day city tour and night safari was fine but the driver could have been more communicative in providing details of the places visited. There was a Chinese temple where he dropped us for 10min to roam around and when I asked the name of the temple he asked me to go and check it where everything was in Chinese. I had to google to find the name. 3rd day pick up was delayed by around 90min which affected the duration of the Sentosa visit. After waiting for nearly an hour in the heat outside hotel we had to get inside to the reception and as soon as the vehicle reached the location I get a message stating that we will move the vehicle as it’s already late as if it’s our mistake not allowing us the needed time to walk outside. this happened couple of times which needs change to maintain a good experience and I acknowledge that the visitors should be on time to avoid inconvenience to others where as here it was vice versa. The rest of the visits were good. Well coordinated. Tickets were shared on time and the team also helped in locating the pick up location after one of our activities. Overall good experience. Just few things to look into and take care going forward. Thank you.

Aishwarya's 5 days trip to Singapore

We booked our Singapore trip through Travel Triangle, and the assigned travel partner was Abroad Vacations. While Singapore itself was wonderful, our overall experience with planning, coordination, and communication was disappointing. There was significant miscommunication throughout the trip. On th
e last day, we had specifically paid extra for a private tour, and the same was confirmed by the travel agent. However, instead of the private tour, we were clubbed into a group tour without any prior intimation. This was particularly frustrating because we had paid additional money specifically to avoid a group tour. When we raised this concern, we were told that we should rely on the itinerary instead of the WhatsApp chat, which did not make sense since the private tour had clearly been confirmed by the agent. The day-wise planning was also not optimized. For example, on the Sentosa day, we completed the Sentosa Cable Car around 1:00 PM, while the Wings of Time show was scheduled only at 7:30 PM. This left a gap of almost 6–7 hours with no guidance or planned activities. Singapore was extremely hot during that time, and exploring outdoor beach areas did not make sense. We were left to figure things out on our own in an unfamiliar place. Eventually, we had to spend extra money to visit the Oceanarium just to utilize the time and manage the long gap. Proper planning and guidance could have avoided this inconvenience. Similarly, on another day, the itinerary included Museum of Ice Cream, Marina Bay Sands, and Gardens by the Bay. We completed the Museum of Ice Cream in about 1 hour–1 hour 15 minutes. When we checked with the driver, we were told we had to wait for nearly an hour as pickups were scheduled. This resulted in us waiting in the hot sun without any proper arrangement. When we contacted the Abroad Vacations agent, the response was that they had already paid for the transport and we could not take a Grab. This was not helpful, and we were left with no option but to wait. After reaching Marina Bay Sands, we later realized that there were timings for Gardens by the Bay, which were not properly communicated in advance. Because of this delay and lack of coordination, we had very limited time to explore the Flower Dome, and we had to rush quickly to the Garden Rhapsody show. The entire day felt rushed, and we could not explore the attractions comfortably or to our satisfaction. Additionally, there were multiple instances where only driver timings were shared, without proper guidance on meeting points, buffer time, directions, or how long each activity would realistically take. The expectation seemed to be that we should manage everything ourselves in an unfamiliar city, which was stressful. The main reason for booking through a travel agent is to have a seamless experience, proper planning, and guided transportation throughout the trip. However, in our case, we were mostly left with just tickets and driver timings, and we had to figure out the rest ourselves. If we had to plan everything independently, it would have made more sense for us to book the tickets directly. The lack of guidance and coordination defeated the purpose of booking through an agent. Overall, the trip lacked coordination, proactive communication, and proper planning. We expected a smooth and well-organized experience, especially after paying extra for certain services. We hope Travel Triangle and Abroad Vacations improve their coordination, honor confirmed bookings, provide realistic day planning, and ensure clear communication so future travelers do not face similar issues.

We recently booked our Singapore and Malaysia trip through Abroad Vacation, and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience! From the initial planning to the final day of our journey, everything was handled seamlessly and professionally. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed, covering
all the must-visit attractions while still allowing us enough time to relax and explore on our own. The hotel arrangements were comfortable and conveniently located, and all transfers were perfectly coordinated without any delays or confusion. What really stood out was their responsiveness and support throughout the trip. Any queries we had were addressed promptly, which gave us great peace of mind while traveling in a new country. Overall, Abroad Vacation did a fantastic job in making our Singapore and Malaysia trip smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free and well-organized international vacation!

Tips

  • Use Public Transport: The Mass Rapid Transit system in Singapore is extremely efficient, and should be relied upon all around the year. The most economical option is to get a Singapore Tourist Pass that will allow you unlimited travelling for 24 hours, for a mere $7.5 USD. If you prefer hopping into a cab, make sure you download the app ‘Grab’, because Uber does not work there.
  • Get Travel Insurance: There is nothing that makes Singapore any riskier than any other place; rather it is a particularly reliable and safe city. However, an insurance is always a great idea, and unfortunately too many people realize that only when it is too late.
  • Stick with the Local: The local cuisine in Singapore is absolutely amazing, and it is almost always prepared extremely hygienically too. Whenever you want to grab a bite, make it a point to skip the Michelin star restaurants and instead visit any of the various famous eating spots around the island state.

A visit to this island-state is a wondrous mix of exhilarating amusement parks and adventure sports, humbling and wholesome religious experiences and joyous cultural celebration and exhortation. The local people are great to talk to, and the local culture is a joy to behold. There is no reason to second guess a Singapore Tour Package from Kochi, getting on a plane at any time of the year and going to Singapore. You will definitely have a great time on your trip.
