Goa Tour Package From Mumbai

Let's dive right into Goa's beautiful architecture which is inspired by a combination of the Goan, Portuguese and Ottoman styles. The magnificent churches that we see around in Goa were built by the Portuguese who ruled over the region for upto 4 centuries.
Much of the temples that existed back then were destroyed due to the Portuguese's intention to spread Christianity all over the land. Apart from churches, you will also find other forms of architecture such as forts and galleries. Some examples being Aguada Fort, Sinquerim Fort, The House of the Seven Gables and Velha Goa Galeria.

To not talk about Goa's beaches would be a massive disappointment. There are numerous beaches all over Goa that you can explore such as the Palolem Beach, Calangute Beach and Baga Beach. Beaches are the best part about Goa because there is something for everyone to enjoy: you can play beach volleyball, build sandcastles, simply walk around; or go parasailing, surfing and jet skiing.

Goa is also famous for its local cuisine and liquor. You can try dishes from its cuisine such as xacuti, vindaloo, sarapatel, feijoada, cafreal, sanna or enjoy a local alcoholic beverage such as feni and uruk.

The festivals in Goa are another reason to lure tourists there. The Carnival Festival, Christmas and New Year's celebrations are hands down the best in Goa.

Goa is home to some of the most beautiful beaches such as Baga, Palolem and Sinquerim Beach. The architecture of its magnificent churches is so unique that it has secured for itself a place in UNESCO'S World Heritage List. Bom Jesus Basilica and Se Cathedral are two prime examples. Goa owes much of its architecture to the Portuguese who resided there and made it their home. Missionaries also came to Goa and spread the word of the Good Lord Jesus Christ.

Ideal duration

The ideal duration of your Goa Tour Package From Mumbai can vary depending upon your preferences. You can visit Goa for a duration that varies between 3 and 7 days. Rest assured, you will be able to visit all the major tourist spots in Goa and enjoy yourself to the best within a time span of only 3 days. You can definitely stay longer if you have the time to do so.

Best Time to Visit Goa

Summers in Goa (March to June)

Temperatures in Goa reach as high as 40 degree Celsius during summers. Therefore, this is probably not the best time to visit Goa. Because of the high temperature, you cannot truly enjoy the beach life as well because there is a risk of heat stroke and sunburn. The hotel prices usually decline around this time because there isn't a great tourist crowd during summers. Some festivals that you can enjoy in Goa around this time are the Shigmo Festival and the Sao Joao Festival.

Monsoons in Goa (July to October)

Monsoon can be a good time for you to book a Goa Tour Package From Mumbai considering that the temperature drops down to about 21 degree Celsius. However, just like summers, you will not be able to enjoy the beach life in its full bloom. But, you are always welcome to enjoy the lush green forests of Goa by visiting the National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries.

Winters in Goa (November to February)

We definitely recommend the winter season as the best season for you to go and visit Goa. The weather is pleasant with temperatures ranging between 23 to 30 degrees Celsius. The fact that winter marks the beginning of the festive season in Goa is another reason why you should definitely explore it around this time.

Sourav's 4 days trip to Goa

Hotel room and food: Before we start the trip, one PDF of the particular hotel room has been sent to us. But the real picture of that hotel room was very poor. Welcome drink was not served from the hotel, even it is mentioned in the itinerary. We had to ask for it. The condition of AC, wall paint, dusting in not at all upto the mark. Food from the particular hotel was really tasteless. But the buffet breakfast was better. The name of the hotel is MAYFIELD BOUTIQUE HOTEL, CALANGUTE. They have told us that they will change the room in next day, but that was done in the last of our trip and for that we didn't change. Transportation: The first car and the driver were not good. Car was not comfortable, AC was not working properly, it was smelly inside, one t shirt was hanging on the sit. But from the next day we got very good cars and drivers as we had informed our travel agent. They solved that issue. Othe drivers were very helpful, professional, polite, informative. We felt safe. Itinerary and the Travel agent: Travel agents were good, they listened to us. But the problem is, they didn't communicate with us in their end. We had to communicate and ask for the next day's plan from our end firstly. Whatever we planned before the trip started, an another itinerary was given to us just one day before. But, for the few times we editted our plans, and they tried to keep it in that way only . Overall: Trip experience was not bad but little bit hectic what shouldn't have been like that as it was a complete conducted tour by the tour operator. Suggestion: Tour operator should be little bit more communicative Dolphin Safari
