Giza Tour Packages

Giza Holiday Packages: rated 4.5/5 (based on 8 reviews)

Giza Holiday Packages

Third-biggest city of Egypt, Giza is nestled on the west bank of the river Nile. The city is popular around the world due to ancient pyramids.
It is home to some sacred structures like the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Giza has been always a part of the history of Egypt which has attracted many tourists to this place. It is a great place for planning a tour both with your friends or family. So, if you want to check off this destination from your bucket list, book the top Giza tour package that has been crafted especially for travelers.

Best Time To Visit

It is vital to plan a vacation during the right time of the year so as to take advantage of the weather and explore as many places as possible. So, here is a break-up of the seasons in Giza according to which you can plan your getaway.

Spring: The spring season starts in March and ends in mid-May and the temperature ranges from 12 to 32 degrees Celsius. With cold nights and hot days, the days of these months are ideal for exploring the top tourist places in the city. However, Khamsin winds might increase the temperature on some days. So, book your Giza holiday package keeping in mind the weather of the place.

Summer: From mid-May to mid-September, the days become hot and humid with passing days. The scorching heat of the sun does not allow anyone to wander around in the city as the temperature rises to more than 38 degrees Celsius. The rising level of humidity in the air makes it unbearable to deal with, especially for tourists.

Autumn: The temperature dips down slowly in September, October, and November as the winter season is around the corner. Although, there are still chances of receiving Khamsin blows in these months too. You might want to stay indoors during these blows or you can opt to explore museums that provide cool shelters.

Winter: Winter is the best time to explore Giza as the temperature drops down to 7 degrees Celsius, making it perfect for some sightseeing out in the desert. Nights are usually more chilly so you might want to pack some warm clothes for nights. Moreover, sand blows decline in the month of November which makes it ideal for booking one of the Giza trip packages.

Best Way To Reach

By Air: The nearest airport to Giza is the Cairo Internation Airport which is situated just 24 kilometers away from the city. The distance can be covered by hiring a taxi. There are regular flights to Cairo from different countries of the world. In India, one can book a flight from the metropolitan cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Chennai. The early you book flights and Giza travel packages, the less burden it will be on your wallet.

By Road: As the country is well-connected with the nearby countries via roads, Egypt is accessible through ground also. Egypt is nearly 4500 km away from India and the route goes through Iran, Iraq, and Pakistan. This route is risky and not advisable to tourists.

The information about the best time to visit and how to reach Giza must help you finalize your trip dates and routes. The only task left will be to choose a suitable Giza tour package. So, ask your friends or surprise your family by planning an escapade to Giza.

Starting from discovery , I got very transparent quotes from responsive travel agencies . After short listing flying fleet , Sumit from the agency guided me theu the Egypt tour transparently and with expertise .finally the execution of the holiday in Egypt by travel partners were also very well done . I had a 24 hours operations manager Ehab coordinating every day with me from pickup to drop . The cars were all in good condition and the drivers were courtious . The guides were Egyptologist’s with 4 years bachelors degree and were fairly knowledgeable . I totally enjoyed my 7 days Egypt trip and would highly recommend. I enjoyed the experiences with the Guides - they made each of the locations come alive with their insightful details .Abu simbal , Giza Pyramids and Karnak temple are unforgettable . The night tours were also fantastic .

We usually dont go through a Travel Consultant but did it first time given the relative complexity ad language issues in Egypt. We were close to booking an alternate coordinator in TT when we got a much better/ comprehensive itinerary from Amaan from Flyingfeet Adventure. We had no qualms to finalize the booking then and there. The rates were very competitive. We were skeptical how the trip would go but we were constantly supported and assured and all details shared. On the ground in Egypt, the execution was immaculate. The Hotels and Cruses were top notch. The ground coordination was brilliant. This stands out as one of the best trips ever! I would highly recommend Flying Feet Adventure, specifically Amaan as Trip Planners. Visiting the Pyramids in Giza. Trip to Hurghada. Nile Cruise.

Rama's 4 days trip to Egypt

Things that worked well 1. Visa processing 2. Despite the request being last minute, the team managed to put an itinerary together which was decent 3. The tour guides were polite, punctual and approachable. 4. Luxor hotel was very nice Things that didn't work at all 1. Day 1 - Arrived @7AM, dropped at hotel by 9AM and had to wait till noon or pay extra to check in. If this was the case, it should have been mentioned clearly. In fact what is misleading is the pre-departure document - it clearly states Day 1, pick-up from airport, drop at the hotel and check-in. It should have stated that we will need to wait till noon for check-in. I will not recommend the Giza hotel. 2. Day 1 in essence was wasted - we had the whole day but nothing was planned 3. The hotel where we stayed for the 1st 3 days was far away from the city and transport to the city was not feasible. There was nothing near the hotel, so after the day of touring there was nothing to do, and the neighborhood wasn't great. 4. The trip turned out to be expensive. In comparison, we did Alexandria on the 12th on our own by renting a cab and was far cheaper.

Meet's 7 days trip to Egypt

It is often very difficult to envision and approach the planning of a trip to a place you know little about.. But, Amaan from Flying Feet really came through and presented us with a joyous pack of memories to cherish forever. It was nothing less than commendable how Amaan helped us draft an ideal itinerary for Egypt with very specific details about each place - how much travel time does it involve, best time to visit and how can it be accommodated with other things on the list, fatigue one could potentially experience and every single bit I could think of! Their connect in Egypt and transition between drivers/guides from one local site to another was as smooth as it could be. Food (each meal of the day to be specific) , cabs for travel, tour guides, hotel and even the check ins, entry tickets, inclusions like hot air balloon and snorkelling, how to deal with the locals, currency conversions (to and fro) - everything was taken care of. The availability 24x7 on the trip and prompt responses even on the tiniest concern was really appreciable. A trip as perfect as I'd like it to be! Gist of our itinerary - Cairo/Giza - Aswan - Abu Simbel - Aswan - Luxor - Hurghada - Cairo 3N Cairo - 3N Cruise - 2N Hurghada

Nabanita's 7 days trip to Egypt

The whole trip was conducted very well, the history was explained by the guides very well. This proves that they are knowledgeable. Almost everything was in a timely manner. Drivers in Airport, Cairo and Aswan was really good and helpful. But the driver in Luxor was very rude, Ill mannered to the kid and he asked for 100 EGP when we were eating food. He was not ready to listen and he forced me to pay the amount. This was a bad part. It has to be the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara tombs.

Rakesh's 10 days trip to Egypt

Hello All, When we started to plan our trip to Egypt, we got to know planning Egypt was not like any other trip. We had to be sorted with a lot of aspects if our trip had to be wonderful. After contacting many travel agencies, we finalised with "Flying Feet Adventures". Booking Experience : 5++ Stars (special mention to Mr Amaan from Flying Feet. As said, planning Egypt can be tricky and the reasons are -> Lot of wonderful sight seeing places and MUST DO things are spread across entire country. Also, be ready to travel a lot inside the country right from North to south (Alexandria to Abu Simbel). All this needed a good planning, requirement understanding, Proper hotel booking and time management and a perfect Itinerary. One man who can exactly understand your requirement, give very good suggestions, make a wonderful itinerary, give perfect and transparent quote and make hassle free booking is Amaan. "He is the reason why we booked this tour from Flying feet" Itinerary and Travel experience : 5++ Stars (Amaan and the Egypt ground team). All our Itinerary was perfectly planned (customised as per our requirement). it was all private tour. Wonderful Nile Cruise was booked for us. We were assigned amazing Guides for every place (private guide) who gave us wonderful insights about the history of Egypt. Very Clean and private vehicles for all our transfers and well behaved drivers. Perfect time slot internal flights were booked for us. we surely had a wonderful time and no complains what so ever. P.S : Unfortunately due to weather and unavailability of sound and light show at the Giza Pyramids, we missed to experience this. Amaan was so sincere to even reimburse the ticket amount as this show was part of planned package. overall loved it entirely!

Deepanshu's 6 days trip to Egypt

Alright! So, finally got to write about the trip. Don’t know how to describe, but the trip was simply awesome. Starting from day 1, started getting some surprises – someone available inside Cairo airport to help with immigration, luggage, currency and finally dropped till cab. This was unexpected. SIM was arranged and handed over to us on day 1 as well with 4GB data – went till second last day of our 7 days trip and then did the recharge. The hotel in Cairo/Giza – actually in Giza, which is the oldest town in Egypt, and it does feel like it, literally, could be improved. Rooms in a 4-star property are expected to be maintained. Had to ask for a room change on first day. The cab driver in Cairo, the tour guides for Alexandria and Cairo, were awesome. Yes, an English-speaking driver would have been appreciated, but since English is not widely spoken in Egypt, we had to manage with Google Translator anyway. The driver otherwise was very nice and interesting person. We were playing Bollywood songs in the last days of the trip – got to know his love for Amitabh Bachchan and he could literally identify the movie name by just listening to old songs of Amitabh sir. Something which could’ve been better as well – on the cruise, the driver was there to make arrangements but wasn’t given a place to be seated. This felt bad on humanitarian ground since we could see him standing outside the hall all the time. Another glitch was one of our domestic flights time mismatch – Cairo to Hurghada as per my records was 9AM, but actually was 11.45AM. This didn’t create much of a problem, but we had to rush after reaching Hurghada coz of our pre-booked afternoon activity. The property in Hurghada was just awesome. Realizing what all one could do just inside the property, I felt to have spent more time in Hurghada. Truly a 5 star experience. The very last day also, had to ask for room change as hotel (Pyramid Park, Giza) tried to give us a twin room. Finally, trip ended very well. Much better than I expected due to the services I received from various people and everything being planned much earlier. A big thanks to Yatharth and Mr Karam for making it a memorable trip for us. Local folks – Mr Ali (local contact), Hanny (cab driver in Cairo), other guides – thank you all. Cruise Dinner with a surprise gift on our anniversary was a lifetime experience.

Places To Visit

The Great Pyramid Of Giza: Also popular as the Pyramid of Cheops or Khufu, Giza pyramids are the oldest and largest pyramids of Egypt. Constructed with limestone and granite, the pyramids earned the title of one of the seven wonders of the world. The pyramids are almost 4500 years old and were originally built to a height of 146 m. Only a limited number of tourists are allowed per day so try to visit this place early in the morning.

The Great Sphinx: Another popular beauty of Giza, The Great Sphinx features the head of a human and the body of a lion. The Sphinx is built from a single block of sandstone and is situated near the Great Pyramid of Giza. Tourists are not allowed to go near the sphinx so you can take pictures from a distance. If you do not want to miss out on this iconic structure, then opt for Giza packages that include this tourist spot.

The Grand Egyptian Museum: Famous as the Giza Museum, it is home to some ancient artifacts of Egypt. The museum is upgraded from time to time to accommodate more artifacts due to which the museum will be fully operational by 2022. Giza Solar Boat Museum: The main motive to build this museum was to display the restored version of Khufu Solar Ship. The museum is an excellent archaeological site that gives a glimpse of the history of Egypt. Solar boats were huge ships that were used in the funeral rituals of the king.

Things To Do

Camel Ride: Any trip to Egypt is incomplete without a camel ride. Almost all resorts in Egypt give a chance to indulge in this famous activity. Sound & Light Show: The real beauty of Giza can be seen at night in the Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza. The three majestic pyramids come to life with colorful lasers and lights. Enjoy the blend of history and technology by admiring the dramatic effect on the pyramids against the jet black sky.

Dinner Cruise: One of the best activities to opt for in Giza is the dinner cruise in the Nile River.
