Jampa Dubjur (JD) was our tour guide in this trip and Haapa Dorji was the driver accompanying us. They were kind, knowledgeable and very accommodating. They made sure we had a good time during the long drives! Following hotels were provided to us : 1. Phuentsholling : Hotel Legphel -> 2km away from the main town. The rooms were excellent, hygienic and food was pretty good too! 2. Thimphu : Hotel Takhtsang -> Located at the centre of the city, but the room was decent, however the food was good! 3. Punakha : Hotel Khurukhuru -> Located at the centre of the city. The rooms were great, hygienic and food was pretty good too! 4. Phobjika : Hotel Odiyana -> This hotel has a great view of the Phobjika valley. However, the room was pretty average. The food was pretty good(however, despite booking for a breakfast in advance. IT was over way early.) 5. Paro : Hotel Ratna Vara -> Located at the centre of the city, The rooms were excellent, hygienic and food was pretty good too! I had always heard that Bhutanese are very deep rooted to their culture and pretty genuine in keeping their tourist happy. JD, Dorji and Sharmila proved that it was true. If you’re planning for a trip to Bhutan, I would highly recommend to go with Green Zone Destination Tours! Tiger Nest hike and Hot Stone bath after a grueling hike was the best experience!

Whether we were out of cash, wanted to try authentic Bhutanese food, shop at reasonable prices, or simply needed privacy to explore, every request was handled patiently and respectfully. We always felt supported without feeling restricted. A very special mention to Guruji and Tashi for prioritizing our health and comfort. Considering how challenging the roads can be in some parts of Bhutan, we feel extremely lucky to have had Guruji as our driver. He was caring, experienced, and looked after us like an elder, without ever getting into our personal space. re information than my Bhutan guide. Guide Namgey was good on first day who had to rush for an emergency, only to be replaced by a bad guide. Their choice of hotels are not so good as they are away from the city in Thimphu and Paro. I liked Thimphu hotel though. Travel agents were helpful sometimes but I had to ask them driver and guide details multiple times which was frustrating. Sometimes there was poor or late response. I realised that the guide skipped places at the end of the tour and they stopped replying to my messages or calls without even acknowledging their mistake. They even blamed me for not informing earlier. I wasn't expecting to be cheated like this, otherwise I would have been cautious. It was my mistake ultimately according to them. They haven't acknowledged guide mistake till now. Please choose your travel agents carefully.

The scenic beauty here is unparalleled, especially when surrounded by the lush green valleys and the stunning backdrop of the Himalayas. The hike to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten was invigorating, and the views from the top were absolutely worth it—an unforgettable sight that captured the essence of Bhutan. Finally, our visit to Paro was magical. The iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a cliff, was a breathtaking trek that offered both a physical challenge and a spiritual reward. The serenity of the location, combined with the clear blue skies and crisp mountain air, made it a highlight of our journey. Throughout our travels, we were continually impressed by the pristine environment. Bhutan’s commitment to preserving its natural beauty is evident everywhere—from the clean streets to the unspoiled landscapes. The air was fresh, and the atmosphere was tranquil, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In summary, my trip to Bhutan was a dream come true, and I wholeheartedly recommend this destination to anyone seeking adventure and serenity. With the help of our fantastic travel agent, our exceptional tour guide who felt like family, and the stunning locations of Thimphu, Punakha, and Paro, it was an experience I will cherish forever. rpo in Punakha and Khamsum in Paro were very good Driver Dilip Gurung did excellent job. Guide Pema was a very good person but needs to improve his guideing skills Bhutan is a must visit country. Humble and happy people, majestic mountains, enchanting valleys, unending greenery, mystic monasteries, zongs everything there has left a permanent mark in our hearts. Long live Bhutan.
