d: Hotels at Kandy was below average on all parameters. Food at Nuwarya Ellia hotel was below average, howver, they accommodated indian food request Most importantly, we should have been allowed freely to choose government authorized operators for whale watch, Madu boat safari , polonurwarya city tour who offered tickets at half the price compared to Glamour asia recommended operators. No such restriction was mentioned in the itinerary Also, we had to book tuk tuk at Merrissa as cab was not available for whole day Several places mentioned in itinerary were not covered on one pretext or another eg Ambuluwawa. adam peak, Zip line etc. On the other hand, we were charged 10K LKR for polonurwa sight seeing in lieu of village tour and cultural programme in which we were not interested Lastly, we should have given flexibility to adjust time for sighseeing spots a little eg some spot is more appealing than the other Overall it was a good trip and well organized Thanks to Travel triangle and its partner So many of them eg Lion Rock, Nuwarya Elliia, merrissa whale watch, tea lounge, gem making, Hibiscus beach resort with priavte area, lotus tower at colombo .. so and so forth

ned for my trip and I would give the following rating, 1 - Phuket [SUNSET BEACH RESORT ] - Rating 4 out of 5 - Like- The property is good. Dislike - Far away from main attractions i.e. Patong Beach and Bangla Street required tuk tuk which cost you approx 300 BHT. No extra bed was added as per the package and which requires a call to either Thailand or India team to make it work. This takes our 30 mins to 1 hr there is a gap between India and Thailand teams. 2 - Karabi - [ANANTA BURIN RESORT] Rating 4 out of 5 Like- Nice property with 2 swimming pools 1 with the slide-like water park kids liked too much. Dislike - Far away from the main attraction i.e. No extra bed was added as per the package and then required a call to either Thailand or India team to make it work this take approx 1 hr then the Thailand team ask us to make the payment and then they would refund us or ask us to send the QR code for making the payment which was more frustrating that why they can't manage this own asking us which was not our part to do in the trip. as it was clearly mentioned in the package they need to fulfill it. 3 Pattaya - [IBIS PATTAYA] Rating 3 out of 5 Like - Good for the Family. Dislike - Far away from the main attraction i.e. walking street. Disappointed with this property selection. The same problem for the extra bed faced here again to call the agent and try to make whatever was possible which take here more than 1 hr after all they said to make the payment now and then they will refund. 4 Bangkok - [ASPEN SUITES] Rating 3 out of 5 Like- Property is good. our itinerary, transfer from Pattaya to Bangkok was planned with Bangkok en route city tour. To save money they ask to check in first to the hotel so they can provide only 1 cab instead of 2. We have 3 places in the city tour 1 Gems Gallery 2 Golden Buddha 3 Marble Temple cab driver is saying the temple is closed he doesn't want to take us there we force him to take us there we found the temple is open. when I escalated this to Rohit he was shouting at us and informed me that we are late but the issue is first of all they have written rooms with extra beds which MUST be there due to this we have wasted more than 1.5 hrs to clear the things at hotel. The package included English speaking driver but in none of the transfers we got English speaking driver. Even the driver doesn't know how to use Google Maps. Map showed us to go left not to take the bridge driver take the bridge and which cost our time from like 7 min to 18 min and updating to Thailand team they are saying we are at fault not the transportation person. Even when connected to Rohit he also makes his voice loud and saying not correct words. I must say co-ordinator Rohit was very good/helpful and coordinated the trip very well. But he had limitations Thailand team might not listen to him.

was horrible ( 2 slice of bread and butter with 1 banana and 1 yogurt) Complete Money waste and spoiler of the trip, Please don't book this hotel for any guest and try to refund the money for the same to US. 2)Welcome drink was not provided at Ceylon city hotel also. Other Hotels were good specially 'Ella flower garden resort'(Best Hotel in the whole trip) Car Service : Superb Driver : He(Nisam) is not good enough because of him we ended up paying more money every where(initial 2-3 days). He took us to the places where he has tie up with people over there, We realized it on the third day when we confirmed the price of Tuk-tuk with other people and we got to know that we payed 3 times the amount of what other people paid over there and his reaction for the voice we raised was very bad.He stopped the car in middle and said call the 'Direct Link' people and get another driver. Second driver : Izme : he was good and decent. Travel Triangle : Initially when we were esquiring that time the response was good enough but after we paid the first installment then the response has been changed.We need to do multiple follow-up to get the information. Final itinerary also we got the last moment after multiple follow-ups. No suggestion provided by travel agent about the places to visit and stay such as he could have guided us to stay and spend more time in Bentota instead of Galle. Infact Visa information was provided after asking. The complete itinerary was planned by us. Over all experience was average with Travel Triangle.

side from pattaya.there is no tuk tuk near by.faced difficulties in that alone. Also in Bangkok - boss suites naana hotel we faced cockroach problem in rest room..overall it was good experience Under sea walk , paragliding and safari park were the best memories

re made to wait for more than an hour for the rooms to be ready in Bentota. On reaching the homestay in Colombo,it was found that there was no intimation whatsoever and neither the advanced payment was deposited to them. As a result,Silvikris Villa( Homestay) Management refused to accommodate us even after waiting for more than 3 hours on the road. However,later on a new hotel was arranged by them and the rooms were fine. However we have lost more than four hours due to this lack of management and miscommunication. We had to bear the expenses of the lunches of the driver and the guide particularly in Galle and Colombo. The replaced driver at Colombo misbehaved while we were shopping in a different shop not suggested by him. He demanded commission from the shop owner and went overboard. Subsequently,he threatened us that he would leave and that we should take Tuk-Tuks back to the hotel. Mr. Thillina was excellent and extremely cordial and cooperative. Hotel Topaz in Kandy was amazing and the overall trip was very memorable and well enjoyed by the entire family. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Galle fort. Beautiful Kandy. Boat Ride on Bentota River. trekking followed by best of the trip ....... rafting Later that night we went local places and explored Phuket.....I must tell its not just any tourist spot, its a damm big city with some of the best shopping places We even found some of the local shops for clothes, they're damm cheap with very good quality (or so my wife said :-) ) Phuket to Krabi was a nice adventure taking ship for most part(great sea sightings & selfies clicked) Upon reaching Krabi we boarded local transfer in a tuk-tuk Krabi is a small island, coastline driving there is so much relaxing and at that it was like Bangalore weather, light breeze We took a 2 wheeler for 300baht/24hr and saw as much of the place as possible Surprisingly there were a lot of Indian hotels that served seafood with Indian taste....(for a seafood lover, its a boon for me) 4 island tour from Krabi was so much fun, snorkeling, relaxing at Poda, with low tides it made even more merrier One of the best advice from Tripoholic I received a day before the journey: "Take speed boat instead of long tail boat"........I'm relieved that I took it for some extra cost, and it was worth it Why? If you're avid traveler then you'll notice that most Indians dont behave well outside India, their approach towards locals is very bad and no respect for other cultures and their way of living Anyway since speedboat was expensive there were no indians on board, so me & my wife preferred beach clothes, there were no wide eyes from any of the fellow travellers and the best part speed boat saves a lot of time and it really is very fast compared to long-tail We spent this time exploring local places in the evening Its a time well spent trip
