Built by Sultan Muhammad Shah Aga Khan III in the 19th century, Aga Khan Palace is also known as the Gandhi National Memorial. It once served as a place of imprisonment for Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba, his secretary Mahadev Desai, and Sarojini Naidu. The palace, now a museum, houses a collection of pictures and personal items of Gandhiji, like slippers, clothes, utensils, etc. Declared a monument of national importance by the Archaeological Survey of India, the site has memorials of Kasturba Gandhi and Mahadev Desai on the premises. 4. Khadakwasla Dam and Lake
