Are you ready to absorb the unmatched beauty of this place, have some thrilling experiences? Then, get the Coorg river rafting booking done without a second thought. Coorg is a beautiful hill station in the Indian state of Karnataka which is often referred to as the Scotland of India due to the resemblance of its scenic beauty with that of Scotland’s beauty.
It is famous for its cool and pleasant atmosphere.

River Rafting at Barapole

Adventure to some is like food to the soul and you totally get to reinvent yourself, boost your spirit and have experience here, to cherish, for the rest of your life. River rafting is of two types, white water rafting and still water rafting. White water rafting takes place during the monsoons when the river is full and the flow is quick. On the other hand, still water rafting takes place before or after the rains. River rafting, through the turbulent currents of the Barapole river, is a once in a lifetime experience and is one of the most challenging ones. The Barapole river rafting cost would be approximately Rs. 1200, per person. The activity lasts for 90 minutes and can be enjoyed anytime between 9 am-3 pm. The distance you get to cover would be 4 km. The rapids are of grade 5, thus making the difficulty level moderate. You are provided with safety equipment and also refreshments. You are advised to change to t-shirts and shorts. Pregnant ladies and children are not eligible for river rafting. You will be guided by the rafting instructors, who are cordial and helpful. If you are lucky, you could enjoy some rain along with this mind-boggling expedition. There may be some difficulty to synchronize at times, but that is manageable. The serenity and the divine atmosphere will make you go gaga over the place, never wanting to look back.

River Rafting at Dubare

For those who wish to begin on a slightly lighter note, the best option would be rafting at Dubare. The rapids here are of grade 1 or 2 and are perfectly suitable for beginners. You pass through dense jungles and also get to see the Elephant camp. A few things need to be kept in mind before you look forward to rafting. You must be between 14-60 years of age. You need to weigh below 110kgs. At no point in time, you should let go of your life jacket. Choosing the right clothes is important for a hindrance-free experience. Moreover, there are hardly any accidents reported in Coorg. Under our Coorg river rafting packages, your safety is of utmost priority.

Overall it went well but not as expected. Started with a delay of cab driver for 1.30 hour and couldn't cover the most of the places because of that. Driver was not able to guide us properly due to which we reached the spots but they were closed because of lack of proper communication.

hotel location is not as expected, it was long away from the hill station, since we were new to the place and unaware of the location, the Traveller should have guided us with the locations (climate, ambience) etc, this was not happened, should improve, we have also had a choice to cancel the current booked hotel to a new hotel in hill station with additional cost cost too, eventhough, the Traveller did not helped, overall, with the help of driver, we went to the places to which he is well versed
