pathetic. AC will trip every 1-1.5 hrs entire night. There is no hot water kettle, tea/coffee pouch in room. Later on they supplied on 2nd day evening which we never used. Stay at nuwara Eliya, Ella, Kandy. Jungle Safari at Yala. Mirissa beach.

ore memorable. Hotels Booked in Kandy, Nuwarliya & kalutara are up to the mark. The only Concern we faced in Kalutara was, Hotel asked 50$ additional for Child accommodation and conveyances. Even though we paid the entire amount before departure . Travel triangle trip guide also not helped on this and he asked us to pay. But, we denied to pay additional amount after several discussions with Direct link . Finally, they agreed to pay that amount. Especially those who are travelling with child, Be careful while receiving quote from travel triangle and double check whether the offered price includes your child accommodation and meals. Overall it was pleasant trip with good fond of memories. Thank you travel triangle.

ra Eliya and Marino Beach Resort were just grand! Golden Ridge at Nuwara Eliya where we stayed in a Cabana was outstanding! However the Coco Royal Resort at Kalutara was rather disappointing, a standard room on lobby level at the back and no wifi except at the lobby and pool! Wonderful sightseeing, very helpful and courteous driver, Tamim and all in all a most enjoyable trip! The views from the rooms at Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Colombo were great and food at all 3 places was very good! Friendly people and a nice country to visit for a relaxing holiday!

e srilanka short trip was poorly planned with horrible accomodation. Accomodation at Coco royal beach resort at kalutara was shocking, mentioned as 4 star but real picture was of a guest house. Requested transfer to a promised 4 star was denied by the travel agent. Had to shell out 1 night accomodation from my own pocket. The only thing good about Sri lanka was the private taxi and the courteous driver. We had to self plan the Sri Lanka trip at last moment. That was really hurting as it was our honeymoon. So the security about being on foreign land with a travel agent to support you through local is a myth. Whenever you travel, no matter what your agent say like "rest assured" "I'm your 24*7 help" are mere lollypops . My advice would be, spend quite some time on internet and plan your own visit through proper channel, by going on the resort/hotels website, calling them and inquiring in and out before booking and most importantly getting all the itinerary on your mail. ,

fied OYO facility with cramped rooms, AC getting packed up within 30 minutes of check in and rectified later. Kandy : Hotel Topaz was good accommodation. Nuwaraelia. Having rejected their earlier Unique Cottages on pretext of all rooms being located on First floor and our age factor, we were upgraded to Hotel Grand Camelia to SECOND floor with dining facility exactly in front of our Room No 302. Hotel's stairs are so well designed particularly steepness that a person with half of our age will find difficult to ascend or descend. To be frank leave aside Starring, hotel was nothing more than upgraded Farm House with limited staff doubling as Cleaning Staff and Waiters in Dining Facility. Kalutara : Excellent Hotel with good ambience and expected amenities. Colombo : Hotel Galadhary having seen it's good days is living in the past, though still patronized reasonably well. However, present front desk managers could do well to be exposed to soft skill development, rather than taking offense to complaint to non functioning sink. Transport and Driver Mr Rohana were the only saving grace during entire duration of tour who doubled as Guide as well and performed Exceptionally well. We would remember him.

ntota, whereas I asked for hotel in bentota. We had to go to Bentota for city tour with our driver Upali, who talked more and drove less stopping everywhere without any reason. Resort's bed and mattresses were not comfortable and also food served there was not hot hence didn't like it. But the view is great. 3. Day 3 we were to move from kalutara to Unawatuna via Galle(had lunch there) and Upali took more then 6 hours to cover that distance which was merely of 2 hours. He started showing where he studied, where he played etc hence we had to ask him to move faster which he didn't listen and moved as per his will, hence our whole experience was pathetic due to him. I will suggest not to assign him to anyone. He wastes lot of time and you will miss most of things due to him. When we reached hotel he came to know that we will be going to Mirissa with somebody else,as I requested for driver change, he started arguing with us as he was expecting to earn some money in whale watching safari. 4. We stayed at kabalana hotel which was just amazing. Rooms were great and comfortable and beach too was awesome.Food and staff was also good. If you want breads ask them to cook for you prior to meal. 5. We went to Mirissa for whale watching with new driver. He was nice and gentle but he wasn't reserved for full day by Apple Holidays(as per our itinerary he should have been there till evening). We were at Mirissa beach and he started saying around 12pm lets go back I have other customers to pick. Hence we had to leave there early and we came back to hotel then and enjoyed there only. 6. Next day we had to reach ella via national park. Our new driver Mr. Udhana was really great. He drove fast and we could visit Udawalawe national park on time and then reached ella too by 5pm. He showed us ella city. He brought us back to Colombo next day and gave us quick sneak peak around Colombo's few attractions. 7. Overall our trip could have been much better if our first driver was better. We could have covered more places but a big shout to Dimple for managing so well. Sri Lanka is indeed a beautiful place to visit. I would like to visit there again and would like to learn surfing too.

time. I expected atleast a courtesy call .It was like we were left with a driver ..Also, the vehicle was old one .. About the hotels, OZo kandy was good with good food options.. Thuruliya ramboda and oak ray yalla was not up to the standard.It is better to book a hotel at N.Eliya than in ramboda. The breakfast was poor in thuruliya and the rooms were just basic without even a telephone. Oak ray yalla was full of flies and insects being on the side of the river/lake. Cocoroyal,kalutara has good facilities with good food but is not good for Indian travellers as they value only European customers.we had a very bad experience from them. We visited lot of places, did safari , madu river boating .. Nuwara eliya is the best place, the gregory lake is just amazing .. Yalla safari was also very nice and adventurous. I recommend travel triangle and direct link services ..
