Da Nang Tour Packages

Da Nang Holiday Packages: rated 4.3/5 (based on 147 reviews) | Packages starting from ₹51,660/-

Da Nang Holiday Packages

Vietnam’s coastal city, Da nang is known for its sandy beaches and historical extravaganzas. It has been a French colonial post and a popular tourist spot for people on a Da nang holiday.
It is also the gateway to visiting the Bà Nà hills on its west. A tourist will find many caves, pagodas, and Buddhist shrines at this destination.

The beauty of this city is that it is halfway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and also the fourth largest in Vietnam. A traveler must make it a point to halt here and enjoy the exciting holiday spots it offers. Food is also great here and one must-try authentic Vietnamese when here.

Best places to visit

When booking the Da nang tour package, include these five places on your holiday:

1. Marble Mountains

South Da nang, you will find a cluster of five hills made of marble and limestone known as the Marble mountains. These mountains are highly revered and very ancient. A world-known pilgrimage site, there are caves, tunnels, temples, and grottoes hemmed here. These mountains have stood the test of time and even the wars in Vietnam, the bullet holes of which can still be found here.

2. Golden Bridge

Probably the most popular Da nang’s attraction, the Golden Bridge is located in the Ba Na Hills and has two giant hands cradling the bridge. These carvings, known as the ‘Hands of God,’ are intricately designed, and have been around for ages. What makes it even more appealing are the Chrysanthemums planted here.

3. My Khe Beach

With a distance of 20 miles, My Khe Beach is the most famous beach in Da Nang. Forbes even called this beach one of the most luxurious in the world, making it the perfect spot for a Da nang holiday. There are numerous cafes and restaurants here with some amazing accommodation facilities.

4. My Son Sanctuary

A UNESCO world heritage site, My Son Sanctuary is about 40 km from Da Nang. It was built in the 14th century AD by Champa rulers. There is a temple of Lord Shiva here, a considerable part of which was destroyed in the American Vietnam war. The foliage of the sanctuary is wonderfully made of natural and man-made beauty.

5. Hai Van Pass

Known as the ‘ocean cloud pass,’ the long strip of 21 km connects the Lang Co in the Hue Province and Da Nang. This is the highest pass in Vietnam, 500 meters above sea level. Beautiful mountains everywhere in the line of sight, you can choose to take a jeep tour to get a panoramic view of the entire pass.

How to reach

While there are no direct flights from Delhi to Da nang, one can book a direct flight to Hanoi from all major Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, etc. Take a tour Da Nang when you land in Hanoi or any other key city in Vietnam, and then either take a flight to this city or take the road to reach here.

Best time to visit

Summer (June- August)

This is the best time to book Da nang holiday packages. The temperature fluctuates between 32 to 38 degrees Celcius and tourists are flocking the city then. It is mostly dry so sightseeing is easier. Accommodation and flights during this time are costlier compared to any other time of the year.

Monsoon (September- December)

This is the time of the maximum amount of rainfall in Da nang. Temperatures are low and it could get slightly nippy. There are no adventure or outdoor activities available during this time. If you wish to enjoy the cafes and quietude of the city, though, this will be a good time.

Winters (January- May)

A good time to visit Da nang, these months see low temperatures. However, you won’t find many tourists here during this time. The accommodation and flights are cheaper and the place is less crowded compared to any other time. The temperature ranges between 20-30 degrees Celcius.

Our recent trip to Vietnam was an incredible experience, meticulously organised by Tom from Wonderscape Travel and Kanchan from Travel Triangel. Their attention to detail ensured that all arrangements were top-notch, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty and culture of this remarkable country. Here’s a review of our journey, which included visits to Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Da Nang, Ba Na Hills, and Ho Chi Minh City. Trip Overview The itinerary was well-structured, providing a perfect balance of cultural immersion, scenic exploration, and relaxation. Each destination offered unique experiences that enriched our understanding of Vietnam. - Hanoi: Our adventure began in the bustling capital city. We explored historical sites such as the Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter, where we enjoyed delicious street food. The guided tours provided fascinating insights into Vietnam's rich history and traditions. - Ha Long Bay: The cruise through Ha Long Bay was undoubtedly one of the trip's highlights. Surrounded by stunning limestone karsts and emerald waters, we engaged in activities such as kayaking and exploring caves. The onboard meals were exceptional, featuring fresh seafood that showcased local flavours. The breathtaking scenery made this UNESCO World Heritage site unforgettable. - Da Nang: In Da Nang, we visited the famous Marble Mountains and enjoyed some leisure time on pristine beaches. The city’s blend of modernity and tradition offered a unique perspective on Vietnam's development. - Ba Na Hills: A visit to Ba Na Hills was a memorable experience. We took a scenic cable car ride to the top, where we marvelled at the Golden Bridge and enjoyed panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The French Village added a charming European touch to our adventure. - Ho Chi Minh: Our trip concluded in Ho Chi Minh City, where we explored vibrant markets. My trip to Vietnam went very smoothly with many good memories. Thanks to Jenna from SVietnam team who had planned this trip for my family and was always available for any support we needed before or during the trip no matter how late at night or how early in the morning we needed support. She was very patient in listening my requirements and went out of her way to make all the arrangements very good and convenient. I went to Hanoi, Ha long bay, Da nang and Phu Quoc during my 11 days trip and all 4 places are worth the visit. THANKS JENNA AND SVIETNAM TEAM!! Apart from all the memories, I would like to highlight the politeness and helping nature of people of Vietnam (Jenna, all guides, drivers, hotel staffs)

Perfect Holiday Planners was my travel agent. I booked 3 days Krabi package through them, which included Phi Phi Islands tour by speedboat, 4 Islands tour by speedboat and private airport transfers between Krabi airport to my hotel in Ao Nang area. Their representative, Ms. Khyati was very responsive and cooperative throughout the process & provided timely response to all my queries. She even guided me considering I was traveling with my 1 year old son on this trip keeping in mind his safety & comfort. The trip was carried out smoothly and was well coordinated. Overall I would highly recommend their services and booking a trip through them.

"Just returned from Vietnam to New Delhi, and I can't stop raving about the incredible experience! From the bustling streets of Hanoi, serene waters of Ha Long to the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City, every moment was a new adventure. Exploring the ancient charm of Hoi An, relaxing on the breathtaking beaches of Phu Quoc, and immersing myself in the culture of Da Nang – it was truly unforgettable. The tour was expertly planned by The Aurora Travel and Travel Triangle, with knowledgeable guides, comfortable accommodations and authentic local cuisine, though we are vegetarians the planners took care that we were served with vegan options.Vietnam has stolen a piece of my heart. Surprise Photo shoot at one of the beach included in the itinerary, Camia Resort,Cu chi tunnels and of course Halong Bay Cruise..

Srinivasa's 14 days trip to Vietnam

Recently I completed my 2 weeks trip to Cambodia and Vietnam. As I was travelling with my family of 11 members for this trip, I had opted for Private transfers and Private tour everywhere. From Travel Triangle, I received 3 Tour Agencies. 2 of those where in discussion with me while the 3rd Agency hardly was communicating with me. Among these 2 Agencies Michael from SVietnam Trips was the only one who was actively in contact with me and I ended up booking my trip with him. My Trip guide Harvinder from Travel Triangle reached out to me only during initial payment. Before and after that no follow up from Travel Triangle. Would like to take few names and express my feedback. Michael from SVietnam Trips: Right from the day tour agencies got allocated, Michael had been in contact with me. No matter how late it may get in the night, he would never forget to respond and tries closing out my queries. As my travel group was big with different age group and difference choice of places, I had to do lot of research on my own to handpick few places which are not in the common itinerary any agencies would provide. Michael was very co-operative and patient while accommodating all my changing needs and itineraries. Wherever he lacked knowledge he tried gathering info and suggested me on my itineraries. He ensured he would be available over the phone throughout my trip and he lived up to this expectation. When we visited Ha Noi, he had come to airport to greet us and also gave me a local SIM newly bought for me free of cost. On the next day as promised, he had visited our hotel and took me to a Currency Exchange place where he had got me very good rates and also helped me in getting Indian Dinner parcel in his own vehicle. On the last day of our Ha Noi stay he had come to a mall where we took a pit stop and helped us with shopping and guiding in the mall. Throughout our trip, every day in the evening he used to check with us on how our trip went and if any help needed. My family and I liked all of these gestures including his personal visit whenever we needed his help and showing that extra care which I hadn’t experienced from any other travel agencies I had traveled before. This is where he went an extra mile to ensure quality service assured by him is provided. Very impressive and would highly recommend him for your Tours. To say a few words about Tour Guides, we were lucky to have got very good tour guides in every place we traveled which I would recommend except for the guide in Ho Chi Minh City. Nak in Cambodia, Thuy in Sapa, Chung in Ha Noi and Linh in Da Nang & Hoi An were very friendly, happy going, informative and approachable. They made us feel very comfortable and ensured we had good time in our tour enjoying every place covered in the itinerary. Special Notes: -> Thuy in Sapa: My aunt and MIL were senior citizens who were finding it difficult to climb the stairs, Thuy took an extra step and special care to assist them everywhere while climbing and walking. My aunt felt blessed to have such a person holding her hands and helping her to walk everywhere slowly at her comfort. When one of us lost our mobile phone in a Cable car, he stood by us and helped co-ordinating with customer service and housekeeping until we got back our phone. -> Chung in Ha Noi: He was always smiling guy. Stayed with my aunt to take care of her and kept addressing her as ‘Mumma’ which made my aunt feel very touchy for his special care & attention. -> Linh in Da Nang & Hoi An: She was very joyful and cheerful. Once when we got late in the night after our day trip, she and her friend helped in booking pickup cab for us and followed up till we reached out hotel. The tour guide named Lucky in Ho Chi Minh City compared to others we felt was okayish. She wasn’t that informative and wasn’t much open to us. Example: In Cu Chi tunnel when we saw other guides stopping in each & every spot explaining for 5-10 min in detail, Lucky was just skipping explanation for those places and was asking us to see and understand the instruction board. We had to ask her on most of those spots which she skipped to specifically share some info as other guides where explaining few details. Overall we weren’t happy with Cu Chi Tunnel tour. Despite this place having a huge historical significance, the guide made it look very basic by giving very limited information. From Travel Triangle, I am not happy at all for their service. Apart from follow up for initial payment, I dint see any effort from them or their Trip guide to enquire whether my trip was started, how my trip was going on and whether my trip ended well or not. Except the system generated formality emails on payment and feedback, no communication from their team. Overall I would say we had a fabulous trip and very good experience with SVietnam Trips. All thanks to Michael for extending his care & support throughout our trip. If I have to take another trip, I would rather go directly to Michael from SVietnam Trips than any other agencies or even Travel Triangle.

It was good. However we have not booked flights and hotel from here..Let me give my feedback in detail... Couple of times the cab number shared was different and cab waiting for us was different. Once driver didn't arrive to location and was very late to pick up us from port when we returned from krabi 4 island day trip. My sis leg was injured and had swelling and she was unable to walk. Inspite of explaining the situation to cab driver, he refused to come to the parking to pick up. He asked us to pay the parking fee to come to the parking point. Every tourist was picked up from parking excluding us. In Krabi 4 island trip we were not covered with 4th island that is Phra nang which was really beautiful cave beach. Hence I rate 4 stars..
