Nepal Friends Packages

Friends Holiday in Nepal: rated 4.5/5 (based on 535 reviews) | Packages starting from ₹11,700/-

A rich flavor of cultural heritage, hair raising adventures and an overall air of quietude and solace, Nepal, bordering India and Tibet is known for its Himalayan mountains including Mount Everest. The capital of the country, Kathmandu is the perfect blend of Hindu and Buddhist cultures with temples and shrines dispersed throughout the city.

While people usually prefer traveling to Nepal solo, Nepal packages for friends have also picked up pace in the recent past, exemplifying how people now want to explore this beauty with their loved ones. Nepal also houses the birthplace of Buddha, Lumbini, which is one of the most sacred sites around the world. The closest one can get to attain Nirvana, a trip to Nepal is the greatest escape one could ask for.

Best time to visit

To witness clear skies and pleasant weather, October to December is the best time to visit Nepal. The weather is usually dry until April, which is the best time to visit in case someone is planning a Nepal trip package for friends that includes trekking as its prime activity. However, be warned this season can also get a little dusty at times due to its intense winds.

How To Reach

There are many ways to reach Nepal from India, especially by air and by road. Read on to know which one suits you the best:

By air-

The only international airport in Nepal is the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu that witnesses regular flight operations from all major Indian cities. The popular airlines that fly to Nepal include Indigo, Air India and Jet Airways. Another international airport in Nepal is being constructed in Pokhara and is anticipated to be operational in 2021.

By train-

Traveling to Nepal by train is a tad inconvenient since people have to take multiple routes including that of a train to reach the destination. One can board a train from Delhi to Gorakhpur from where they can take a jeep or a bus to the Sunauli border. Post that, another shared jeep or bus can be hailed to reach Kathmandu on the other side of the Bhairahawa border.

By road-

The most convenient way to reach Nepal is by road. One can take a direct bus to Nepal from India, which takes you to Kathmandu. A person needs a permit and has to pay a toll fee to cross borders between Nepal and India if one is on self-drive. A Nepal package for friends gives you self-drive car options too, in case you decide to go with your friends.

Mohit's 6 days trip to Nepal

Our trip to Nepal with MD Adventures was incredibly smooth, thanks to Sabuu. She was always responsive, answering questions at any time and ensuring every detail was taken care of. Her warm welcome at the airport, along with a thoughtful gift, made us feel at ease right away. Sabuu also provided a clear and well-paced itinerary, ensuring a relaxed and peaceful experience with no rush. As requested, the itinerary had plenty of time for rest and enjoyment. One note for vegetarians: options can be limited, so it's helpful to bring your own snacks or meals. I highly recommend MD Adventures, especially with Sabuu!

Tips for travelers

  • Don’t trek solo if you are a beginner or an intermediate level trekker. Ensure you have an experienced local or guide with you while trekking.
  • The country loves its sleep and peace, so if you’re a party animal, ensure you hit the clubs early. Not much is open post 10 PM.
  • When hailing taxis, make sure the driver charges you by the meter. If not, they may end up taking a lot more money than you plan to spend.
  • Exchange money at the airport because no other country accepts Nepal’s currency. So as you step into the country, this is the first thing that you should do.
  • A service charge is never levied on the bill, so tip generously.
  • Nepal holiday packages for friends and family have seen an exponential rise in sales because the popularity of this country has increased manifolds. Kathmandu, Pokhara, Nagarkot, etc have beautiful temples shrine and amazing Nepalese food for those who love a holiday full of adventure, excitement, and peace- all at the same time.
