Pokhara is a very beautiful city located on Phewa lake which lies in Nepal. The most interesting part of this place is that it is known as the Gateway of Annapurna Circuit which is one of Himalaya’s popular trails. Pokhara is also known for its Tal Barahi Temple, a 2 story Pagoda, stunning islands and lakeside yoga centers. The area is extremely beautiful and big coastal region surrounds. The best way to reach Pokhara is by flight as it is very convenient and economical. Read on to find out how to reach Delhi to Pokhara.

By Air: There are direct flights from Delhi to Pokhara which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach. This is the most convenient way to reach Pokhara. The Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport has great connectivity in many countries and so does it have in Pokhara airport.

By Train: There is no direct Delhi to Pokhara train because the place is in another country itself. But you can reach the Gorakhpur railway station by train and then you have to reach Sunauli Border in order to travel to Pokhara by bus or a taxi. You can take Bihar D Kranti express (12566) or Arunachal express (22412) or there are many other trains as well.

By Road:

By Bus: There are direct buses available from Delhi to Pokhara which takes about 24-30 hours depending on total stops. These bus travels can cost you around Rs 1800-2400. This is the second most convenient way to reach Pokhara.

By Car or Taxi: Delhi to Pokhara distance is about 1058 km and it is not possible to reach there by individual car or taxi. There is no route for this means and other means are advised for travel.
