Halong Bay Tour Packages

Halong Bay Holiday Packages: rated 4.3/5 (based on 742 reviews) | Packages starting from ₹21,840/-

Halong Bay Holiday Packages

A Vietnamese wonder, the Halong Bay tour that you take will be wonderful, gorgeous, and probably, one of the most beautiful holidays you will ever take. The emerald waters, limestone islands, and amazing adventures make a tourist want to come back to the bay every opportunity they get.
It is popular for many activities that happen here, including junk boat tours and sea kayaks.

Another very interesting aspect of Halong Bay is the name of the islands based on their shape. While one is called a Stone Dog, there’s another one that’s known as the Teapot islets. Rock climbing and hiking are also exciting adventures available here, particularly in the mountainous Cát Bà National Park. Did you know that the bay is also called the ‘Land of ascending dragons’? It is also a site protected by UNESCO for its virgin beauty.

5 Best Places To Visit In Halong Bay

When booking Halong bay tour packages, keep these destinations on your go-to list:

1. Cat Ba Island

The most popular island in Halong Bay, the Cat Ba island has amazing places to hang out for tourists. Usually, the Halong bay tour always includes this destination as a part of the itinerary. It is the largest island in the area. One can indulge in different activities like snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and rock climbing among others.

2. Sung Sot Cave

The ‘Cave of marvels,’ the Sung Sot Cave is one of the largest caves in Halong Bay. It has intriguing rock formations in different shapes like Buddha, phallus, and a tortoise. Find many stalagmites and stalactites inside these caves.

3. Dau Be Island

There are many elements that make the Dau Be Island popular. There is the Ba Ham Lake, which has three ocean basins. A diverse range of flora and fauna like orchids, banyan, golden monkeys, and flying squirrels are easily spotted here. Swimming on this island is one of the best experiences for a tourist.

4. Ti Top Island

Possibly the most attractive of all Halong Bay islands, the Ti Top is named after a Russian astronaut, Gherman Titov. There is a summit atop the Ti Top mountain, which gives you splendid, panoramic views of the beach. There are many water adventures too, that one can indulge in, when here. Don’t forget to add this to your itinerary on the next Vietnam trip.

5. Dong Thein Cung

Another one of the largest caves in Halong Bay, and a must-visit on your Halong Bay tour, Dong Thien Cung is no less than a natural wonder. It is also known as a ‘Cave Haven,’ with magnificent stalactites and stalagmites of different flora and fauna.

How To Reach

From India, a tourist can reach Halong Bay, one can book a direct flight to the Cát Bà Airport while booking their Halong Bay trip. Jet Airways is one of the most common carriers, which has many flights to this part of Vietnam. Once here, hail a cab to the destination, which is about 2.5 hours away.

Best Time To Visit

Winter (November to February)

With fewer crowds but ample beauty, this is a great time to book a Halong Bay package. December is the coldest and the driest month of the year and the nights are longer than days. But the nip in the air and the fog that envelops the bay adds a certain charm to this already gorgeous destination. The months from January have sunshine again and become ideal for swimming, among other activities.

Spring (March to May)

Optimal sunlight and pleasant weather, spring is probably the best time to visit Halong Bay. The temperature ranges from 19-25 degrees Celsius and all activities become more appealing during this time whether it's cruising or kayaking.

Summer (June to August)

The quintessential tourist season of Halong Bay, the summertime is when the tourist traffic is at its peak. The temperatures go up to 38 degrees on hotter days. Rains and storms are also common during this time, bringing the temperature down but exponentially increasing the humidity.

Rahul's 8 days trip to Singapore

Overall it was a memorable and good tour thanks to Travel Triangle to help me getting connected to Satguru Holidays. Itinerary was prepared as per my requirement but some things were missed for which i requested specially. I requested for room decoration in both the hotels for very first day but that was not arranged. Also Parc Sovereign Albert Street didn't have complete details of my booking for which i had to talk to travel agent and send me booking confirmation with hotel. At one point Cab driver also caused us issue, he left us at hotel and went for city tour with other guest. Moreover he didn't inform us that he is leaving us, we kept on waiting for 45 min when i contacted local representative for what's the issue. Sentosa and Cruise have been memorable time. Do not ask for city tour, its waste. Nothing is covered by travel agents in city tour excpet for Merlion. Rather plan your city tour by yourself and cover Gardens by the Bay, Orchid Garden, National Museum, Merlion, Bugis Street, Clarke Quay, Chinatown, Singapore Flyer. In name of city tour they take only to Singapore Flyer, Merlion & Chinatown.

Sujeeth's 6 days trip to Malaysia

Firstly great job done by sumith. Thanks for the good price quote by Satguru Holidays very reasonable and all the properties were five star. Our trip was for 5 nights and 6 days, two nights in lankawi at hotel bay view. The hotel staff was also very helpful and friendly. They gave us early check-in and upgraded our room from hill view to sea view wch had a very beautiful view. And coming to the place mainly climate is very nice daily atleast for half an hour u'll have a rainfall. Places to visit are chanang beach most happening beach there u can find everything and it's open all the night. U can find many duty-free shops in the city it's very cheap compared to airport. It's best place for shopping in Malaysia. Third day we were transferred to kaula Lumpur and the hotel provided was Double tree by Hilton. This was a very huge property and our room was is 23rd floor and had a twin tower view wch was awesome. But they charged 15000 extra for that view for two nights. Kaula Lumpur is a concrete jungle lot of high rise buildings and lot of traffic jam in peak hrs . places to visit are The food street was very gud with all types of seafood,KLCC Tower, Kings Palace, Petronas towers(twin towers), and KLCC shopping mall wch is very huge and all international brands are available. There is a Chennai street where u can find Indian food. But very difficult for vegetarians. Breakfast was very good at Hilton. 5th day we were transferred to Genting Highlands, on the way we had a stop at murgan temple where there is a huge statue of Lord murgan. From there we went to hotel Awana this was also a five star hotel but it is very old, no wifi in room and no room service. (This hotel is suitable for senior citizens or honeymoon couples) After check in we went to Genting Highlands through cable car 3.5km in 20min wch was very gud experience. In Genting we went to first World (Indore theam park) food was not so great but cassino was very huge and it was nice. Next day evening we check out and back to India. Once again thanks a lot to travel triangle and satguru Holidays especially sumit for a memorable trip.

Ajndesai's 6 days trip to Singapore

The local travel agents mostly picked us on time and dropped us back to hotel or little india on time. They need to take our local phone numbers (mobile) or roaming number and need to inform us about driver details beforehand who picks and drops us using text messages. Crowd in universal studios is too much given festive season occasion. Universal studios provides priority ticketing avoiding queues for 76 SGD per head. This will avoid waiting in queues that is the case with standard pass, which agent provided. All this should be sorted out before the trip begins. Agent needs to inform us about such delays before starting the trip. Sentosa island, Universal studios, Jurong bird sanctuary, Gardens by the bay.

Afshan's 6 days trip to Singapore

Satguru Travels organised a wonderful trip to Singapore. They coordinated very nicely and included as many attractions/places as possible in the itenary. Very well planned visit and they even stayed in touch with us while we were in Singapore, just to make sure everything was going fine. However the travels in Singapore named "Red Apple" travels who were responsible for pickup and drop were worst. Once they left the venue without counting how many people were there in the van, which left 2-3 couples stranded at the place. The drivers were rude and unapologetic. Every day the driver was changed and the name and number of the driver wasn't shared which led to a lot of miscommunication. They changed the timings on their own will. In Singapore every place you visit is memorable since it's such a beautiful country. The Lion city as they call it, has wonderful people and visiting this place was an amazing experience. Merlion park , Universal Studio, Sentosa island, Garden By the Bay etc are some of the best places to visit.

We booked singapore through Sadguru Travels..The overall experience was good ..All the bookings were smooth n hassle free..Sumit did a great job with good follow up except for one..The itinerary clearly mentioned tickets for OCBC Skywalk at Gardens By The Bay..N wen i pointed out that tickets were not given to us by the local agent instead of apologising he kept arguing that it was not included..I even sent him a snap shot of the inclusions which clearly mentioned OCBC Skywalk..But still he gave me stupid arguement saying Koi agent nahi deta hai which i felt was totally unethical...Bcoz as a customer i was very clear of what i wanted and it was clearly mentioned to him..The local agent was superb and helped us in every way out...Except for that one glitch everything went smoothly..

We were extremely disappointed with hotels at Hanoi and Hochi man city. We booked 4 star but the standard was like 2 star. We spoke to travel agent on the Day one, but she said the hotels in Hanoi will be like this. However, in DaNang and halong bay cruise were good. The tour guide and the cab driver were very friendly.
