How to Reach Belvedere Palace

How to reach Belvedere Palace does not give you sleepless nights.

It is a place where you can easily get to and this would mean plenty of transport options as well. The best part is that it is fairly central so you can reach it quickly. This is even from foot to the centre

On foot

Though this destination is not at the centre, but it is not far off as well. If you are in the central area then head southwards towards the ring. If you head west or east towards the ring it is going to take you to the southern tip. When you glance at the roads that head from the ring and towards the south, a McDonald’s outlet can be seen on the right coupled with a theatre like building on the left. At a distance you can locate the Red Army monument as well.

By car

You would need to go through the road map to obtain more details. But take note of the fact that street parking is a bit difficult. The area is crowded and there is a short term parking area nearby. Public car parking are available which you can find out with the help of the maps. It is widely touted that you go on to use public transport.

For upper Belvedere

Tram- opt for the tram D, line that is going to stop just outside the palace. You can also opt for the O line or 18 which is going to take you to Quartier Belvedere and then you would need to walk around 9 minutes.

Subway- catch the O, D or 18 trams. Then get down at Hauptbahnhof and then walk around 15 minutes to this palace. This place is a bit confusing so you would find it a bit difficult to find out the way from here.

For Orangery or Lower Belvedere

You would need to walk over to Upper Belvedere and then opt for tram line no 71. Unteres Belvedere is the name of the stoppage and this works out to be the tram which will take you to the main cemetery as well. In addition to this you can opt for the tram D or 2 routes, where you would need to walk for around 10 minutes.
