Khajuraho is located in Madhya Pradesh and is very famous for its group of temples that were built around 950 AD and 1050 AD and were dedicated to two major religions- Hinduism and Jainism. One of the most important temples in this region is the Kandariya Mahadev Temple which also shows symbols, details and creativity of Indian art. The Khajuraho area is very widespread and has a lot of historical significance. Seeing the importance of this place, it now comes under the UNESCO world heritage site. This place was an example of a tradition of accepting and also giving due respect to each other religion and coexist in one place. This place lies within the Vindhya Mountain ranges which adds to its beauty. Khajuraho over the years has become a popular tourist destination. Stated below is the in-depth detail of the weather in Khajuraho throughout the year.

March to June (38°C to 45°C)

Summer months in Khajuraho are extremely difficult to bear since the temperature in Khajuraho reaches up to 45 degree Celsius. The months of May and June experience extremely high temperatures and until advisable, avoid travelling during these months.

July to September (14°C to 25°C)

Monsoon in Khajuraho is very pleasant because there is a drop in temperature. Khajuraho receives mild rainfall and you can see rush greenery everywhere. There is a little increase in humidity but at night it is very pleasant. This is an off season so you might just have a very good amount of discounts there.

October to February (10°C to 4°C)

Winter is the best season to visit Khajuraho since the weather remains pleasant. There is slight sun in the afternoons which can bring some warmth. It is also the peak season because the climate is favourable.

    The trip was ok. The driver aligned on Day-1 was very rude. Dint know the way to talk to guest. He was very frustrating and irritating person. Dint even know how to drive, I would have rated driver 0, but the driver on day2 was good, hence I have given 3 stars. The travel agent was supportive, howe
    ver it seems there were gaps as what were discussed with him and planned. We had a flight landing at 7 and when we visited hotel, the manager told us that the checkin would be at 12 pm. On calling the travel agent he said that the hotel arrangment is on the basis of availability. Ideally he should have told me earlier if this was the situation. Also his alignment with the cab agency was also not good. The cab agent was telling something and the travel agent said something else. I mean this kind of scenarios would have been avoided if they had a better planning before my visit. I bit disappointed with the experience I had this time. I have been travelling with travel triangle from quite some time and things have been great. Hoping to have better services in future.
