The Lost Chambers Aquarium In Dubai
The Lost Chambers Aquarium in Dubai is one of its own kind places in Dubai where people can witness the vast marine life from the large glass tunnels. Called the UAE’s largest aquarium, this fascinating place is home to around 65,000 marine animals. From witnessing the ruins of Atlantis to diving amongst the sharks and rays, there are a lot of amazing experiences which this place offers to its visitors. The main highlight of the aquarium is digging into the history of Atlantis which sank thousand years ago and its ruin was found years later. The theme of the entire aquarium revolves around the Lost City Of Atlantis and there are underwater tunnels which give an amazing experience of the lost civilization of shipwrecks and ruins. There are around 20 marine life exhibits in this aquarium which is open for visitors to come and interact with some of the marine life species and even feed them under the guidance of animal experts.
Activities Inside The Lost Chambers Aquarium
Snorkeling: There is a facility of snorkeling inside the Lost Chambers Aquarium just direct into the beautiful blue lagoon. It is completely safe and managed by trainers so the beginners and kids (at least six years) can experience snorkeling. A snorkel, mask, and vest are supplied after a brief session about snorkeling.
Fish Tales Tour: This tour is a must experience for the people having a curiosity and zeal to know about the underwater species. During this tour, the guides will take around the aquarium to explore the 65,000 animals which are taken care of and nurtured in this underwater aquarium. This whole tour takes place at the Ambassador Lagoon.
Aquarium Dives: There are different diving programs for divers of different kinds. The first is the Atlantis dive discovery which is a beginners program for the non-certified divers. Then there is a single tank dive for the certified divers and the last is the Predator dive which is only for Bravehearts.
Haunted Chamber Parties: This is a seasonal element inside the Atlantis Lost Chambers Aquarium park. The haunted chamber parties are organized during the Halloween party where people can wear spooky costumes and enjoy night shows at the aquarium.
Aqua Theatre Shows: This is a special highlight for the kids as they can interact with comic divers who explains the various aspects of diving and marine life.
The Lost Chambers Aquarium Atlantis is home to more than 65,000 sea animals that live in more than 21 aquaria. The aquariums are designed keeping in mind the ambiance of the lost city of Atlantis.
