• Krabi Elephant Sanctuary: This place is dedicated towards retired life of elephants, who were once used in the timber industry to carry logs, or in the tourism industry. Elephants kept here are taken care of during their old age. A tourist on reaching here can feed the elephants bananas and sugarcane but in small quantities. They can stroll alongside, take bathing pictures and hear stories about habits and past life of these elephants, from the concerned trainer. How to Reach Krabi

The travel time from India to Krabi is approximately 10 hours and the direct flight is very rare between the two destinations. It is great if one takes a flight to Bangkok and then takes a connecting airbus to Krabi. This is not only more convenient but also absolutely hassle-free.
