By Train, Subway: You can board a train from Flughafen Wien that will take you to Landstrasse. It takes 16 minutes to reach Landstrasse. From Landstrasse, it will take you to Hietzing. You can reach the zoo by foot from Hietzing and it takes approximately 10 minutes.

From here it takes 12 minutes to reach Wien Montecuccoli Platz. From here you can go by foot and it takes nearly 17 minutes to reach Tiergarten Schonbrunn. The estimated distance to the zoo from Wien Montecuccoli Platz is one and a half kilometers.
By Taxi: You can even take a cab from Vienna airport and reach the zoo. It takes nearly half an hour to reach the zoo and the estimated distance is nearly 26 kilometers.
By Drive: You can even hire a car from Vienna Airport and drive it yourself. It takes approximately half an hour to reach the oldest zoo in Vienna. But you will have to bear the fuel expenditure.
By Uber: From the Vienna Airport, you can hire an on-demand Uber which will make you reach Tiergarten Schoenbrunn in just 26 minutes.
Other than the means of transport mentioned above, you can also reach the zoological garden by trams numbered – 10, 58 and 60. The buses with number 10A, 56B, 51A AND 156B will also help you to reach the destination. And it should also be noted that with a Vienna Pass, the entry to the zoo becomes free of cost.
