Before the itinerary is planned, one must know how to reach Rinpung Dzong, for convenience purposes. Reaching Paro is easy – by taking a flight to the only airport in Bhutan which is in Paro itself. The dzong is located only 15 minutes walk away from the main town of Paro. In fact, it is faster to walk than take any form of the vehicle since the Nyamai Zam Footbridge over the Paro River can only be crossed by foot.
