Zoo

The zoo was built in the year of 1971 in order to offer picnic facilities to people of the region. Housing a variety of birds, mammals and reptiles of around 94 species, this place can be a great attraction for wildlife enthusiasts.

Grand Safari

To make the most of an excursion to this national park, it is recommended to enjoy grand safaris here. One can enjoy Lion Safari, Tiger Safari, Bear Safari, and Herbivore Safari. Bannerghatta National Park safari timings are from 10:00 AM to 04:30 PM.

Butterfly Park

Have a great rendezvous with the ‘Flying Jewels’, in this national park housing around 48 species of butterflies. Sprawled over 7.5 acres of land, this park has a butterfly trail of approximately 1 km of length.

Best Time to Bannerghatta National Park

The best time to visit Bannerghatta National Park is from September to January when the weather is pleasant and ideal for safari and exploring the park. Avoid visiting Bannerghatta National Park during the monsoon month as frequent rains might hinder your plans. You can also visit during the months of summer season is from March to June but the temperature can be a bit humid and hot during the day time.
