Trip to KovalamMe along with my friends have traveled to Kerala to visit Alleppey, Munnar, Kumarakom, Alleppey, Kovalam and Cochin for 9 days with Raisoone Travels. Ranjan from Raisoone Travels helped us to choose and visit best places with reasonable package but with premium properties. Our overall trip went very well with out any hassles. On tour support was also superb, we got some issues during check-in to Kumarakom Hotel but it was resolved immediately by Raisoone Travels, this is why you should book your tour with good travel agency. They provided us a very good customer service with very well behaved professional driver who is been very supportive through out our journey. I am proudly rating them 5 Star for all the support and services during trip. Willing to travel with Raisoone Travels again in the future !!!!
Trip to KovalamOverall it was very good experience. Except hotel services and cleanliness of Periyar nest hotel in Thekkady. Food in hotel was disappointing at every place, so we had to go outside for each meal. Arrangements of houseboat was amazing with candle light dinner. Hotel services in Munar & Kovalam was also great. I would recommend DZ to get best experience of kerela tour.
Trip to KovalamThe overall experience was good due to the cab driver otherwise GSK had provided hotel for Munnar which was 1.5 hour up & 1.5 hour down from the main town so mostly 3 hours of our journey was consumed by travelling which they could have saved by providing stay at munnar itself. And our last day was at Kovalam that too which they provided was around 10 Kms far from beach and at the time of booking they didn't ask wheather we wanted beach facing or not and the quality of room was not upto mark.......And even the cab driver was not updated where to take as per itienary ..............................So dont go for GSK travels in future
Trip to KovalamKerala Trip - An overall wonderful, amazing, incredible and awesome trip experience. Tour Club International (Mr. Jipson) helped to customize our 7days trip very well. Mr. Saji (Driver) was well experienced and good photographer too. About hotel rating i would give - Rivertree Munnar - 4 star, Summit Hampton, Thekkady - 5 star, Jasmine Palace, Kovalam - 3.5 star, RGV Houseboat, Alappuzha - 3 star. Houseboat could have been better, not as shown in image. Thank you Tour Club for all complimentary things added to our trip. It was fantastic trip with lots of memories. Scenic View of Munnar with Tea plantation everywhere, Idduki Dam view from Kalvari Mount View point, Alappuzha Backwater view
Trip to KovalamWe have mixed experience as far as hotels are concerned. Hotel Pine Tree staff behavior was excellent, they even provided extra bed without any additional cost, food and tea were also of very good quality but their beds were too soft and spongy to be comfortable. Hotel Season Thekkady at Thekkady was comfortable but their food (breakfast) was not good. Houseboat at Alleppy was nice, however there was some cleanliness issue. Children enjoyed the stay at Houseboat. Location of Hotel God's Own Villa at Kovalam was good, however earlier informed hotel was better located. Hotel was good at Kovlam but their food was of substandard quality. Hotel Sea View at Kanyakumari was very good. It's location was perfect. The best hotel in the whole trip we got was at Rameshwaram. Star Palace hotel was perfect and their staff behavior was excellent. They also tried and provided us two suits and one double bed room instead of three double bedrooms without asking for any additional charges. Location of Hotel Lotus at Madurai was also great. Breakfast was also of very good quality though they have no restaurant of their own and arrange it in collaboration of a restaurant situated just in front. As far as vehicle is concerned, it was comfortable but it was not in accordance of what was quoted in the quotation prior and after booking. In place of 9 seater AC Luxry Tempo Traveller we were provided with a 12 seater AC Tempo traveller. Vehicle was also not in best of the condition. But the drniver Mr. Vijay Krishna was excellent. He was very polite, honest, soft spoken, reliable and possess excellent driving capability. We shall always remember him.
Trip to KovalamHotels - Kovalam Hotel Ocean Bay was the bad experience. It was too unhygienic , unhygienic breakfast and washrooms , not good breakfast. Allepey Houseboat - House experience was worst. The only good part was our cook otherwise nothing was happening their. Firstly we were picked up late by 30 mins after waiting , cruise driver was so irresponsible he stopped the cruise at dot 5 PM and left for his home ,we hardly enjoyed cruise ride, TV was not working , washrooms were dirty, rooms were suffocating and stinking .In the morning we checked out early and have to pay auto charges on our own to have drop at the drivers pick up point as cruise driver was unavailable. Ideally drop should have been arranged by cruise team. As per the itinerary, we were supposed to have candle light dinner but no arrangements were done for it. We just spent one day their without any memories and enjoyment. Kochi, Munnar and Tekkady hotels were good and as per our expectations. We will rate them 4* as per the services and hospitality provided. Ocean Bay Resort will be rated as 2* and Butterfly Cruise which was arranged for us as 1*. Driver friendliness and proper guidance and support throughout the trip. He made our journey happening.
Trip to KovalamIt was a nice experience with Travel Triangle and Godwin Travels. Whole trip was awesome apart from Thekkady stay and sightseeing, that was a complete disaster. But I cannot blame it completely to Godwin Travels however they should suggest us with dos and dont's over there and could save us with huge disappointment over there. I will recommend other travelers as well to skip Thekkady and add that day to other place with Kovalam or Alleppey. Distance from one part or another is sometimes tedious. Hence for travelers who just want to enjoy place and nature and Kerala should go for Munnar and Alleppey only. In munnar you can enjoy tea estates, foggy mountains and mist. in Alleppey you can enjoy houseboat in back waters and sea shores as well. Distance between Sea Shores and Backwater in Alleppey is merely 5-7 km so if you are going to Kovalam enjoy sea only then you can skip it and enjoy it in Alleppey itself. Munnar, Kovalam and Alleppy are truly awesome. Kerala is surely a "Gods own country". Hotels, stay, hospitality, cabs, driver, sightseeing etc all are very good. We have stayed Parakkat in Munnar, Peppervine in Thekkady, Uday Samudra in Kovalam and Permium fully AC houseboat in Alleppey. All hotels are very good except Peppervine in Thekkay. That was an average in terms of Stay. Overall this Kerala Trip is truly awesome. Wish to go Kerala once again !!!
Trip to KovalamAll hotels facility and service are very good but we think Thekkady hotel karar Garden is a old property so if you can change it or give another option it will be a excellent trip We enjoyed a lot the sight seeing at munnar and elephant ride & bath, Kalari show at Thekkady and in Alleppey we enjoyed our house boat stay and the Kovalam beaches are the most loving part of our journey.
Trip to KovalamOur Kerala Trip was great. Staring from Munnar, Thekaddy, Kovalam, Allepey. Faheem and Aftab both were really helpful and supportive throughout the trip. Munnar Resort was top notch, Thekkady hotel was very good. Kovalam hotel was not that good in terms of cleanliness, needs a bit of improvement. Houseboat was great. Driver should be better in terms of understanding English and Hindi. Language problem was there with him. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend DZ.
Trip to KovalamThe trip was well planned. The only issue was the cab came pretty late to the airport for arrival and its understandable as it was Onam week. Apart from that, I had no issues at all. Best memories of my trip was at Munnar and Kovalam. The resorts were exquisite and the views serene.
