How to Reach Aride Island Nature Reserve

Located 10 km north of Praslin Island, Aride is a part of the Grand'Anse district.

Tours to Aride Island can be arranged by several methods, from hotel owners to tour operators. Visitors can take yacht through local charterers on self-sail boats or board a boat from Praslin. Visitors from Mahe Island have to reach first Praslin first by boat and then take another to Aride.

No boats or vessels other than owned by the reserve are allowed on Aride Island. Hence, visitors have to disembark from boats and board the island-operated boats for transfer onto the island.
