The marketplaces like KR circle, Gandhi Square, Ashoka Road, Sayyaji Rao road, Devraj Urs Road house various shops and showrooms that sell pure silk products and are open all days of the week.

Sumangali Silks in Mysore opens at 10 A.M to 9 P.M all days of the week. KSIC Silk Weaving Factory in Mysore is open on all days except Sunday from 8 A.M to 4:30 P.M. The Badsha Stores in KR circle remain open from 10 A.M to 9 P.M on all days of the week. The Mysore Silk Udyog on Kalidasa road is open from 10 A.M to 10 P.M everyday.

The best time to go silk shopping in Mysore is either early morning or evening to avoid the heat during the afternoon.
