The opening and closing timings for Periyar Lake, Thekkady is from 6:30 am and 5 pm. However, one can enjoy boating ride at Periyar Lake at stretch of 1.5 hrs per ride and the boating timings for the same are - 7:30 am to 9:00 am; 9:30 am to 11:00 am; 11:15 am to 12:45 pm; 1:45 pm to 3:15 pm; 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm respectively.

Some hotels providing very less dish for the breakfast other than that services were ok.
