Weather in Kathmandu:

Kathmandu weather is subtropical in nature. Except for a few stray occasions, over the years, the city has experienced soothing, pleasant summers and winters. It does not get too hot in the summers. The Newars have their own cuisine and Chatamari, which looks like pizza, is a popular food. Lhosar or Buddhist New Year, Buddha Jayanti, Holi, Dashain or Dussehra, and Tihar or Diwali are the most celebrated ones. Ghode Yatra is a festival unique to the valley, marked by various horse parades, functions, and acrobats performed by Nepalese army.
