How To Reach Vietnam From Delhi

The best and direct way to reach Vietnam from Delhi is by air. Apart from that, there are no direct possible routes to reach Vietnam from Delhi. Some of the airlines that operate regular flight services are Air India, Malaysia Airlines, VietJet Air, Thai Airways, Malindo Airways, Singapore Airlines, Jet Airways, and China Southern and others. The fastest route to reach Vietnam is by flight which takes a duration of 8 hr 05 min at a price of INR 18,377. This flight is operated by Thai Airways. If you are planning to travel to Laos or Cambodia from Delhi and then to Vietnam, you can take a bus from Laos or Cambodia to reach Vietnam. You can also reach Vietnam by rail but you have to travel from Nanning and Beijing, China in order to reach here. Vietnam can also be reached from Cambodia via Mekong Delta through a ferry or cruise service.

As the place is well-connected to various major cities of other countries, including India, it is quite easy to figure out how to get to Hanoi. Housing an international airport of its own, Noi Bai International Airport, there are several flight services operating on regular basis from Indian cities, like: Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Goa, etc.

One can choose from several airlines, including Korean Airlines, Thai Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates, and others to cover the India to Hanoi distance of around 3005 kms in the time span of less than 8 hours. By Air

Credit to its international airport, Noi Bai International Airport, there are plethora of frequent flights to help one reach Hanoi in the shortest possible time. As Hanoi is well-connected to major Indian cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Delhi, the distance between Hanoi and India can be covered in 7 hours 45 minutes while boarding a Delhi to Hanoi flight operated by Thai Airlines. Besides this, one can also board flights from Mumbai to Hanoi or Bangalore to Hanoi as well. For a hassle-free tour, it is always advised to buy flight tickets in advance not only to get availability but discounts as well.

By Road

Reaching from any Indian city like Bangalore, Mumbai or Delhi to Vietnam by road is a time-consuming process which takes a lot of effort and arrangements as well. First of all, one needs to have all the visa documents and others papers ready, because there are multiple international borders to cross. However, the roadway exists and can be travelled if one really wants to. The first step is to reach the north-eastern state Manipur, from where the India-Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Road will move to the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway. This Expressway leads to Hanoi. From Kolkata to Hanoi, this journey takes 86 hours approximately and more than 100 hours from all other metro cities. Though an exciting one, this mode of transport is not the best policy.

By Car/ Taxi/Bus:

Upon arrival at the airport, one can choose to hire a taxi, bus, or car at reasonable rates, and roam around the city of Hanoi for a joyful experience.

Feedback for the selected hotels: Vinholiday (Phu Quoc) and Embassy (Hanoi) reflect the ratings on Google. VinHoliday is close to a 5 star hotel and can be compared with Hilton and Hyat. On the negetive side, AS Roma (Phu Quoc) onlline ratings are a fraud and they employ uncivilized people. They are a misfit for foreign travellers: 1. Take 500,000 deposit for three water bottles in the mini bar. 2. Room ceiling fan was not working and it required multiple follow ups to get a standing fan. 3. Complimentary water bottles has to be requested and since we were out all day they asked if we still needed the water. Cheap mindset to save a bottle of water. 4. Night time staff is uneducated - they keep a person with waiter uniform who is non cooperative and when asked about his manager he said she is pregnant. Basically, this hotel should be blacklisted for internationa tourists.
