How to Reach for Toy Train in Darjeeling

There are various options available to reach the Toy Train. One can take the flight and land at the Bagdogra Airport first. Or, leverage the railway services and directly reach the New Jalpaiguri station. After reaching NJP via train, you can take the ride on the Toy Train from here and cover the rest of the distance to Darjeeling.

Timetable for the toy train service

There are multiple timings scheduled for the daily Toy Train service. One can pick any of the timings that suit the best. The first train leaves at 8:30 AM every day from New Jalpaiguri. This train reaches Darjeeling at around 4 PM.

If needed, the train can be taken from the Kurseong. This train starts from the location at 7 AM and reaches Darjeeling at about 10 AM. There is one more train for the people who miss the first one at 3 PM. This one reaches Darjeeling at 6 PM.

Apart from the daily Toy Train services, there are other rides available as well. The joy ride services are available for the people who want to explore the Darjeeling to Ghoom region. Four choices are available in different timings.

One Jungle Safari train also runs from Siliguri every day. One can take the train from the location at 10: 30 AM.

All of these services run smoothly, except during the monsoon season.
