This was a nice trip and would like to thank Swati for being proactive. Few points which can help your tourists coming to northeast. 1. Currently, to enter Meghalaya, one needs an e-invite. This can be obtained by downloading Meghalaya Tourism app and going to the e-invite option. Each and every member of the group need to be added here. One needs id proof, photograph and hotel booking of Meghalaya to complete the process. 2. Our Meghalaya hotel(Rosa Ville Bungalow) was amazing. Its a heritage property and being taken care by a nice set of people. I would highly recommend this for anyone seeking peaceful and comfortable stay. If one talks to the manager he even tells the history of the bungalow, about the family who built it. My favourite was the hallway with all the old pictures of the family members and the dining hall which is still maintained as in the colonial times. It has a lush green campus surrounded by big trees. 3. Our stay at Ginger Guwahati was okay but not very nice. The hotel upkeep is not up to the mark. Neither the service was very good. But the complimentary breakfast was very nice. Regards, Sudeep

Dear Mayukh, Thank you very much to you and your team for arranging our tour to Meghalaya - Cherpunjee , Shillong and Guwahati. We had a very comfortable touring experience, food, Stay and transit. The Places were truly exotic and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the same. Must visit places. We were unable to cover Kaziranga though. Looking forward to cover it next trip. Special Mention to our driver at Cherapunjee - Mr.Suresh, who was very accommodative and pleasing and who also was able to guide us well throughout the trip. We wish to emphasize only on certain things in the entire trip. 1. Our Stay at Hotel Pegasus Crown in Shillong - the rooms were good and in a place connected to main areas in Shillong. However we found the area around the Hotel not appropriate for "Family Stay". The Hotel seems to be not well maintained with issues in Door Locks and lack of back up power supply during our stay on a day for the whole night until we started for the next day's trip. We found it very inconvenient as we were not able to have access to the lift and our rooms were located on the 4th floor. The telephones in the rooms were also not working and we couldn't enquire with the room service/ reception as to when we might get power back. Requesting you to kindly avoid suggesting the hotel for future travellers. We were not able to understand these issues when we booked our trip as the ratings as per google were fine to us. 2. Our driver for Shillong & Guwahati Mr.Gopal - He took us to Shillong local trip on the 1st day and we enjoyed the day well. On the second day since the places covered were a bit far off, he suggested we start early i.e around 7 a.m. However he didn't pick us up until 7.30 a.m. hence there were definite delays in the trip and we had late breakfast and lunch. It was difficult for us since we were travelling with kids and the places he stopped for breakfast and lunch were already crowded with tourists. Hence we had to miss certain attractions in Shillong due to lack of time. There were also some instances of rash driving during transit from Shillong to Guwahati. Later, he heeded to our request to drive slow. 3. In Guwahati - we had planned to do local sightseeing and shopping in Guwahati. However he did not inform us of the time taken for the same and we lost time to and fro the Hotel and couldn't plan our shopping properly. But for the above, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and look forward to associate with you for our future tours and recommend Breakbag Holidays/ Travel triangle to our friends.

My overall experience was OK. I got to see some beautiful places in and around Cherrapunji. We missed a few important places due to fog and poor visibility. Hotels could have been better. No wifi in 2 hotels I stayed. Neither mobile networks were in range. Very limited food options. Kaziranga Elephant Safari was good. My son enjoyed it thoroughly.

Travel Agent was ok, but the hotels booked was upto the mark. Not worth for the money paid, especially Roots homestay. They treated us, as if we are staying for free. In cafeumbir, no one cared about us. No water in the morning for more than 2 hrs, no food in the night. They said restaurant closes by 7PM

Our trip to Shillong with TravelTriangle was a good one. The pickup from airport was on time. The driver was experienced for the route and the terrain. Drop at the hotel was on time. The hotel was serene, amidst the greens. Overall it was a great trip. What worked: Timely pickup and drop, trained and well behaved driver, very helpful hotel staff. What was lacking and could be better: Drivers did not know the tour itinerary in detail, they just had an idea. So we had to tell them what was included and what was not. We did miss some of the planned sites due to this. The condition of tempo traveller was not good either. There was no call or coordination from Travel Triangle or the tour operator during the trip to esquire how the things were going. Hotel needs reboot of its washroom hardware.

Hassan's 6 days trip to North East

Travel agent was very nice and courteous. They were also available whenever needed. However, they were not as well coordinated as my earlier experiences with TravelTriangle. In every trip, driver was like the second tour guide. Driver and the travel agent would be in perfect sync WRT itinerary, hotels experience etc. In this trip, the driver had not met the agent even once. The same was true with hotels booked. They did not even recognize the travel agency name. As a side effect, we had several confusions including our pickup times, right places to visit on right days etc. I personally had to do sufficient research while on the trip to readjust plans, schedules etc. Another example is the last place we stayed in Tawang. While people were really nice and helpful. Agent did not seem to know that there were road closures and road repairs to reach this place from a month. We reaching there at night and struggling by ourselves to find this place was exhausting to say the least. I also expected better tour plan suggestions from the agent and alternatives. Looks like many things were taken for granted. Arunachal pradesh as a place is a beauty! Loved every place we visited. Struggled a bit with clean food options during road travels, especially we being vegetarian, but that was ignorable. Despite all this, it was a memorable trip and I will use TravelTriangle again, but will have to be more careful about agent's experience and involvement. River Boating in Bhalukpong, Snow in Sela Pass and the beautiful but ferocious Jung falls

We had booked only hotels through hilldheko. Initially the booking was smooth, there were no issues, so we were under the impression everything would go on smoothly. We stayed at treetops on our first day it was a good hotel no issues. But in chirapunjee we were placed at a very bad resort, the rooms very very very small, no space to move around also. I repeatedly asked if it was a good resort before booking, but it wasn't. On the third day, we were to be placed at Mawdong. There was some confusion aand when I called the hostess to tell her we were going to be late, she said there isn't any booking under my name. After calling Rohit, he sorted things. Mawdong was an amazing place, good rooms, good food. In guwahati, we had asked for brahmaputra river cruise tickets to be booked, they told us it has been book but they hadnt made the payment to the cruise company. And when contacted Rohit, he asked us to make the payment again because they had a server issue to transfer the amount. We didn't agree, and somehow after speaking to Prashant things got sorted. That wasn't professional at all.

We have been quoted for 3star Hotel but except Hotel Blueberry In of Shillong we did not find rest 2 hotels up to the mark. Landmark wood property is good but Room and services are not at all satisfactory . Does not have proper lighting, hot water, telephone was not working and in TV there are very limited channels NO KIDS CHANNEL AT ALL. 3 night lamps were lit inside the room and only source for the lighting. Also Hotel of Cherrapunji does not have hot water in their Tap , hot water provided in the bucket Cab which was provided does not have carrier at the top so he had to keep our partial luggage on the seat which make our drive uncomfortable. Beauty of Assam n Meghalaya is awesome, mesmerising natural beauty is the main attraction.
