Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra IXB Airport, we take you to the hotel by car. After completing the check-in formalities, it will be a leisure day for you. In the evening you can visit the local market or the mall. You will find woollens, porcelain, brassware and other stuff at the market. You can relax and taste the local cuisine for dinner and have a good night’s sleep at the hotel in Gangtok.

Experience the the crystal-clear lake nestled within the mountains

After a hearty breakfast, we start the day for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake by sumo/maxx. It is a serene, crystal-clear lake located at a height of 12,400 ft. Then, we move further up to Baba Mandir located at 13,200 ft height. You will enjoy the view as you go up towards North Sikkim. Finally, you will be dropped at the hotel for a good night’s rest.

Witness the mesmerizing view of the Kanchenjunga

We start the day with heavy breakfast and get ready for a full day city tour. We will first visit the Tashi view point from where the spectacular view of the whole mountain range can be seen including the magnificent Kanchenjunga. Our next destination will be Ganesh Tok, a small temple which gives a panoramic view of Gangtok. Next, we will view the amazing Flower Show. Here you will see the exotic orchids, rhododendrons and variety of flowers that grow in the mountains. Then we head to the Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre where you can see the local crafts and handicraft before we head off to the Institute of Tibetology. Our next destination is Dro-dul Chorten, a stupa with a golden top is a famous tourist attraction. Then we visit Enchey Monastery which is around 200 years old. Finally, we view the beautiful Banjakhri Falls and then head back to the hotel for the night stay.

On the fourth day, after breakfast we escort you to Darjeeling, the gateway to heaven. You can see the curving Teesta coursing through the mountains as you drive down the winding roads towards Darjeeling. On arrival in Darjeeling, check-in formalities will be done before you have dinner and hit the bed for rest after a long journey. You will stay the night and have a good night rest.

Get doused with the natural delights of Darjeeling

We start the day with an early morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to enjoy a mesmerizing sunrise viewing experience. On your way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery. Later we stop at Batasia Loop, from where we can get a spectacular panoramic view of Darjeeling. You will also get to see the War Memorial, which was erected in 1995 in honour of the Gorkha soldiers who sacrificed their lives in wars after India's independence. Later, go to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed) before stopping at Tenzing Rock. Go to Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (Sunday closed). We then take a tour of the Tea Garden from outside to get an outer view. The next stop is the Ropeway, where we take a cable car ride. Finally, we move to our next destination which is a Japanese Temple before returning to the hotel for the night stay.

After a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel with a heavy heart, get ready to depart. Proceed to the NJP Station/ Bagdogra Airport (IXB) for your journey back home.
