On arrival at the Bagdogra airport/ NJP railway station, our representative will be there to pick you up and after a quick introduction, you will be escorted to the cab which will take you on a journey to Gangtok. The time will flash by as you take a gander at the various things that you can see on the road from Rivers to Railway line to iconic bridges, the journey will definitely not be boring.

As you arrive in Gangtok our representative ill then proceed to take you to the hotel where you can check-in and spend the rest of the day at your own whim, relax and take rest after the long journey or if you’re not tired then you can always go out to explore the capital city of Sikkim.

Visit the Myriad of breath-taking places that Sikkim offers

Once you wake up, you can have your breakfast and without wasting time our representative will take you on a journey towards Tsomgo lake around 40 km from Gangtok, this beautiful naturally formed glacial lake gets completely frozen in the winter. Take in the breath of fresh air and admire the large, beautiful, and calm body of water which will make you forget about all your worries. The next stop from here will be the Baba Mandir, which is a memorial and temple remembering Baba Harbhajan Singh who was an Indian army soldier and a local hero. Sikkim is prone to landslides especially in the area leading to Tsomgo Lake, if by any chance our representative cannot take you there then we will take you to Nathula instead which is the border between Sikkim and China with splendid barren mountain views for an extra charge of Rs 4000. After which you will be escorted back to your hotel in Gangtok.

Experience all the local tourist spots that Gangtok has to offer

After a good night’s sleep, you can wake up and have a hearty breakfast at the hotel after which you will have to get ready for a fun-filled day touring the city of Gangtok. First, our representative will take you to the Tashi View Point with amazing views of valleys and mountains of the state of Sikkim, after which you will visit all the places in and around the city namely Ganesh Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry, Dro-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Enchey Monastery and Banjhakri falls, all of which are very famous tourist spots in Gangtok. Phodong Monastery, Ban Jhakri falls, and Rumtek Monastery are other notable worth visiting places. This whole journey will take about six hours after which you will be escorted back to your hotel where you can spend the rest of the time at your own leisure.

Climbing the hills through valleys, bridges, and tea gardens

After having your breakfast in the morning, you will have to check-out and our representative will then take you on a journey towards Darjeeling. Unlike the journey from Bagdogra, traveling to the hills is a different experience altogether. After crossing the Teesta river, you will be able to feel the temperature cooling down, and after the view of lush green tea gardens pop out you can be sure that you have entered Darjeeling. After arrival, you will be checked in to the hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to explore at leisure. It is suggested that you explore the Mall Road and local cafes in the evening. Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Your day starts with a heart-melting view of the sunrise.

Our representative will be at your hotel at 4 am in the morning to pick you up so as to take you to Tiger Hill to watch the sunrise. Tiger Hill is known for its amazing sunrise view and the temple as well, after watching the sunrise as its first rays hit Mt. Kanchenjunga your day will begin with this positive heart-warming image on your mind. While returning from Tiger hill you can also visit the different places near Tiger hill i.e. Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop which are both important tourist locations and a part of the 7-point tour of Darjeeling. When you reach the main town, our representative will then escort you to visit the P.N Zoological park which hosts many animals including the endangered Red Panda and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute which is your next location to visit. After perusing through the various memorabilia at the H.M.I you will be taken towards the Tenzing Rock which is a famous tourist attraction as well, also known as a training rock used to train budding rock climbers. The next stop will be the Tibetan Refugee center, almost 2 kms away from Tenzing rock which has many documents and properly preserves the Tibetan culture. The Japanese Temple is the last destination in your itinerary located in the town itself and is the Japanese culture hub of Darjeeling. After a long and tiring day, you will be escorted back to your hotel where you can take a long well-earned rest.

The next day you will be checked out of your hotel and dropped at the airport/railway station but not before enjoying the journey back home. You will be leaving this beautiful hill station with memories that will be with you for a long time.
