After breakfast in the Guwahati hotel, you are taken to the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros” - Kaziranga National Park. Here, you would check in to the scheduled hotel. The evening is for you to spend time as you wish, followed by an overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Wake up early and proceed to explore Kaziranga National Park. You can ride on the back of an Elephant to gain a wonderful exploring experience. Apart from Rhino, you also get to see Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Elephants, and Wild Buffalos. This place is also home to storks, pelicans, and darters. After this, you would return to the resort for a good breakfast. You would then proceed to Shillong. En route, you get to visit the Umiam Lake. Once you arrive in Shillong, you check-in to the hotel. Visit Cherrapunji to experience the wettest place in the world

After an early breakfast, you are taken to Cherrapunji which exists at a height of 4.400 feet. This is known to be the wettest place in the world. In Cherrapunji, you will also visit the beautiful Nohkalikai waterfalls and the splendid Mawsmai caves. In the evening, while returning to Shillong, you are also taken to the Elephanta falls and Shillong peal. Here, you can witness some breathtaking views. Then there is a night halt at Shillong.

Experience the rich cultural heritage of Assam

After breakfast, you are taken to Don Bosco Museum & Ward’s Lake. You then drive back to Guwahati and check-in at the hotel there. In the evening, you get to witness Assamese history and culture in Kalakshetra. The beautify is exemplified through light and sound show. After this, you return to the hotel and stay overnight at Guwahati.

After breakfast, you are taken to Assam State Museum, State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre, and Sukreswar Temple. You can go for the optional Golden sunset cruise that gives you the chance to witness the Brahmaputra river closely. Return to the hotel you are staying at in Guwahati for a cozy night’s stay.

The trip ends today

After breakfast, you are taken to the Kamakhya temple. This is one of the oldest and the most famous temple of this region. You are also taken to the Tirupati Balaji temple and Nabagraha temple. Your tour ends with a transfer to the Guwahati airport or railway station so that you can proceed with your onward journey.
