Experience the beauty of Srinagar

Your holiday trip starts after your arrival at Srinagar airport where our representatives receive you. They will then take you directly to your hotel, where you can check-in and relax for some time. Go sightseeing in Srinagar. This will include famous places like the Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh along with the Abode of Pleasure on the banks of the Dal Lake as well as the Shalimar Abode of Love which was built by the Mughal emperor Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan. In the evening, you will be taken for a soothing and relaxing shikara ride on the Dal Lake, an experience you must have while on a trip to Jammu and Kashmir. Another experience which is a must is a visit to the Floating Gardens, also known as Raadh. One can see a beautiful cluster of Lotus flowers in the lake, which is a mesmerizing sight. After you return to the hotel from sightseeing, you can have your dinner, and then have an overnight stay at the same hotel.

Sightseeing in Pahalgam

Have breakfast and go for a day trip to Pahalgam. While on the way there, you can see the numerous saffron fields of Kashmir, which are known around the world for producing some of the best saffron. You can also enjoy the scenic beauty of the Pir Panjal mountain ranges and the Lidder river flowing parallel to the road you are on. This experience will be like the ones you see in movies, quaint and spellbinding. Once you reach Pahalgam, you can either take a horse ride or trek to the Baisaran Valley, also called the mini-Switzerland of India, which will be the closest to nature you can be. After that, if you want, you can visit the famous Aru Valley and Chandanwari Valley by local taxis, at an extra cost bearable by you. You can enjoy walking in the village and experiencing local culture and warmth. Or you can walk alongside the Lidder River back towards Pahalgam from Aru Valley, which is a highly recommended experience. From there, you will be taken back to your hotel in Srinagar, where you can have your dinner and an overnight stay.

Gulmarg adventure and sightseeing

On this day, after breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to the beautiful city of Gulmarg, also known as the Meadow of Flowers. Located around 2730 meters above the sea level, Gulmarg is known to offer some of the most spectacular views of ice-capped mountains, conifer tree forests, and lush green meadows. It is also home to the highest 18-hole Golf Course in the world. After reaching Gulmarg, you will have some free time to do activities of your own. You can enjoy a sledge ride on the snow-covered slopes here, which is available on a direct payment basis or enjoy a cable car/gondola ride, at an extra cost bearable by you. After a day of activities, you will then return back to Srinagar and check-in to a houseboat (another memorable experience), where you can have your dinner and an overnight stay.

Wrapping up!

On the final day of your holiday, after breakfast on the houseboat, you will have time to relax and see the city, or do some shopping or even indulge in the local delicacies. You can also try the famous Kashmiri Wazwan food at Ahdoos in Lal Chowk, or mutton kebabs at Gee Enn Bakers on Residency Road. Once you check-out of the houseboat, our representatives will drop you back to Srinagar airport. You can then finish off the formalities at the airport and relax before your flight back home, taking back happy memories that will last a lifetime.
