Travelers can follow the KRS Dam Road from Mysore to the north and make a right turn after reaching the Belagola village, from where the falls are only 2 km away.

The distance from Bangalore to Balmuri Falls is 144 km. It takes about three hours via taxi to reach Balmuri Falls from Bangalore. Hired taxis are the best option to reach the waterfall from Mysore or Bangalore. Travelers can also take a bus ride to Srirangapatna from Mysore and then hire an auto-rickshaw to reach the place. One can simply take a walk or cover Srirangapatna to Balmuri Falls distance.
