Cherai beach is located on on the north side of Vypeen island and is cradled in the lap of a picturesque natural panorama. Since the dolphins are a little distance from the main beach, tourists will have to take a boat to get there. There are multiple ways to reach this place and for those interested in watching dolphins at Cherai beach, they are listed below.

Cherai beach is 22 kms from the Cochin International airport and about 26 kms from Ernakulam railway station, both of which are the nearest hubs of transport welcoming visitors into the area. Vypeen island is now thankfully connected by road and as such, it is possible for tourists to take cabs/autos right to Cherai beach itself. The option to reach Vypeen by boat/ferry is also available with ferries going often from Ernakulam High Court jetty as well as the Main boat jetty to Vypeen. From the Vypeen jetty, getting to Cherai by road will take roughly 40 minutes and there are buses, as well as smaller transport options available. Hi Team, As you this wasn't my 1st trip with you guys. Though booking was hassle free was surprised to after service, moreover your App was so pathetic which I had complained also, inspite of install & uninstall multiple times , I had login and due payment issues. No transparency on cost due to w

hich I eventually paid on higher payment instead of what it was promised to be, refund for the same pending. Had mixed opinion on overall journey 1) Driver Nice and very friendly guy and always promot on his duty, full 5star for him. 2) Hotel - Lake View munnar * Property was good with view point and staffs etc. But drawbacks were , It's 3 Star hotel rather 4 star. I had face Hot water issue for all days, Team used to attend complaint but didn't get resolved . Food for one night was so bad and it lacks with other amenities to be called a 4Star. 3) Boat house It was fantastic, nice crew team, Good food & Hospitality. It didn't had hot water facilities As I was carrying my infant , but overall it was a happy stay. 4) Support from Travel agent / Travel triangle representative Totally below par to my expectations, As eveytime I need to do too many follow ups, Still I didn't get my refund amount on excess money paid. House boat stay and Villa Property of hotel.

Our travel agent was good but I had a heart breaking experience as the vehicle at the airport pickup was not what was asked for so I had to arrange one myself with additional waste of time in acquiring it and paying extra for the same. hout one till late next morning. Fortunately the agent arranged for the appropriate vehicle and I could save the trip. I have not be reimbursed for the extra expenses even after sharing all payment details. So in a way yes I was extremely dejected till all became well. Overall trip was good. Driver were good, hotels were good in some places. Houseboat hotel was okay. Tekkedy hotel was amazing. Munnar hotel didn't have AC and I wasn't aware, hotel was average, food service was slow.
