Food is good and hospitality, rooms are excellent. Hunder - Dowa resort — stay is ok ok and food is average Pangong - High lake retreat pangong - This is most beautiful stay in the trip. Amazing view of pangong lake . Food and hospitality is excellent in such remote place. Highly recommend this for pangong stay Hanle - The Hor hotel — this stay is not good and food is very bad. This is only bad thing in overall trip. Never stay in Hanle more than a day nothing much to see. Observatory is not much useful. We can cover umlingla and return to Leh in a day. We did same it saves a day We had an amazing trip Thanks to travel triangle and Leh Ladakh journey for providing amazing experience with reasonable budget. Pangong lake and the stay in pangong lake

--> Turtuk -->Thang village Day 4 & 5 - Nubra - Pangong (night stay) -- Tso Moriri (night stay) - Changla pass -- Thiksey (monastery) - Shay (monastery+palace) -- Leh Day 6 - Leh - Sham Valley trip - Alchi monastery - Leh Day 7 - Leh market, enjoy local food Hanle is another good place for stargazing and landscape, Kargil if going towards to Srinagar else it bit far from Leh to cover.

How long would it take to get acclimatized in Ladakh?

The time taken for acclimatization differs from person to person. Usually oen must rest for one whole day even if you are feeling ok. Avoid alcohol for a minimum of 3 days, and increase your intake of water. The biggest cause of Acute Mountain Sickness is dehydration.

What is the best season for trekking in Ladakh?

Depends on the trek route and weather conditions. While Chadar trek can be done only in January, treks like Markha Valley and Stok Kangri summit expedition are best done in summer months, June through September.
