Entry/Exit Info
- Tourism visa services for Nepal has resumed.
- Two flights per week will be permitted between Nepal and India under the Air Travel Bubble Arrangement effective
- Nepal Government has suspended all flights due to a rise in covid-19 cases, while some of the domestic restrictions are being lifted.
Covid-19 Guidelines
- A seven day quarantine period for tourists coming to Nepal, including Indian nationals.
- Nepal is open to both vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers. However, vaccinated individuals can bypass the testing rules that require travelers to provide proof of a negative coronavirus test taken no more than 72 hours before travel.
- All travellers must show proof of hotel booking, travel insurance and CCMC-generated barcode.
- Those who are planning to visit Nepal must apply in advance, present their itinerary and have travel insurance. Visas on arrival are suspended.
- One should carry COVID-19 vaccination certificate, which is showing full dose of vaccination and the last dose should be taken at least 14 days prior to arriving in Nepal.
Permitted Activities
- Restaurants and hotels will remain open but only for takeaway.
- Trekking groups are allowed to travel in the mountain zones.
- Groceries and book shops will be open.
- Construction activities are allowed.
- E-visa holders from Nepal are now allowed to travel to Sharjah.
Transportation
- With respect to the ban on flights Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu will not receive the domestic or international flights.
