Our trip to srilanka was a great experience. The entry fares to the places which we visited was not similar to that mentioned earlier.. The trip advisor was not in contact nor replied as we reached to srilanka. Though in planning the trip he was helpful. Hope the communication goes proper with the travellers. Cab driver was helpful but a little more patience is required. We celebrated our anniversary. The hotel arrangements where very good as mentioned to trip advisor .

Our trip to srilanka was amazing, everything was very nicely arranged, we loved the service provided by travel triangle with the arrangements special mention to our driver kumar who was so amazing, caring nd showed us every place drived continuously with long journey which is really difficult so need to work little bit on that side as it gets hectic with such long travels. Thanks to our travel agent in india Vishal for being so patient and always available and arranging the whole trip so beautifully. At last I would like to add on hotels , our stay was one of the amazing thing in srilanka but for hotel oak ray in nuwara eliya would like to add one thing that hotel, service everything is very nice but this hotel does not have AC in rooms so it's get little hotter in the room to stay in the afternoon. Else everything was just perfect. If anyone wants to know about our trip and details you can check that at our Instagram account @bagpacks.stories Thanks a lot

TravelTriangle(TT): I came across TT while planning for an vacation to SriLanka. This is the first time using TT to book my vacation and I must say, this was the right decision. TT helps you connect with different agents and you can choose your iterary accordingly. DirectLink(DL): I was in touch with Nurshida from DL. She gave me a clear itenary and all the details required for the trip(Info on Visa, entry charges etc) Atheek was the driver assigned to us. He was friendly and cordial. He drives well and helped us reach our destinations on time. All the hotels assigned to us were good and we had a pleasant stay at all the places. Only place where we could not enjoy was Nuwara Eliya. Here the weather was very cold(13 degrees C) and frequently raining. Suggestions for DL: 1. Spent 2 days in Nuwara Eliya, and the weather was not favorable. Please see to that on such occasions change the destination or cut short the number of days. 2. Please keep a list of entry/Close timings for all the tourist places and abide by it. We wanted to visit Bhakta Hanuman Temple, but temple was closed.(Reached at 1.00 PM, temple closes by 12.30PM and again opens at 3.30PM) Overall our trip to SriLanka was amazing. Direct Link has a very professional team and see to that our stay is pleasant. I will surely recommend TT and DL.

Our recent trip to Sri Lanka was a fantastic experience. Special mention for our tour guide - Mr. Prasanna and our point of contact at Tropical Ceylon - Tharushi. Both of them were really helpful and friendly. Our tour guide cum driver could not have been any better who was really polite, punctual and took care of all our needs that were required in Sri Lanka. The choice of hotels provided by the agency was fantastic and very apt according to our demands while the points of interest that we visited were also in reference to our liking. It was a really awesome experience, specially taking into consideration that it was our first international visit.

Had booked only for Hotel and transportation. Hotel Temple tree at Bentota was the worst in terms of cleanliness, service and food. They should remove from the list. We planned for our anniversary in Hotel Taj Samudra,Colombo but the service was very poor inspite of informing in advance that we are coming all the way from India to celebrate our 25th marriage anniversary. Worst ever experience in TAJ property. I would advise people do not short list TAJ Samudra,Colombo for any auspicious occasion. The best time we spent in Hotel Cinnamon Citadel Kandy.

Ceyathra Destination had quoted the highest price (about 50-60 USD more) than its counterparts for a 6 day 7 night trip in March 2020. However, we stuck to Ceyathra because Gishan interacted personally and solved each and every query that we had before the trip. He was available 24*7 and was quick with responses and feedback. He showed amazing flexibility in making changes to the tour schedule and made sure we had a comfortable and fun filled experience. He and his driver Chitra had made sure that our 88 year old father who was travelling with us was comfortable too. Right from picking up at the Colombo airport, to dropping us back Ceyathra Destination offered immaculate service which came in form of Chatura the driver. Not only did he took personal care of all of us but also made sure we got the best Forex rates while buying the local currency. He not only drove us safely and showed us a number of places, but also went out of the way to get us good discounts. His wit came as a bonus for all of us. I recommend Ceyathra Destination to all those planning to travel to Sri Lanka ... Please be assured of personal care and promises will be kept. Thank you for reading ... Gishan can also be contacted on +94 76 804 8729 Climbing Sigriya rock, Dambulla caves, elephant safari, rafting, boat ride on bentota river and a swim on the beaches are not to be missed

Enjoyed the trip. Driver was courteous and drove professionally. Cab was reasonably good. Mahaweli Reach Hotel at Kandy was an experience. The breakfast at Hotel Golden Ridge was good. Stay at Joe’s Resort at Galle was an experience. But stay made at Colombo by the travel agent was disgusting. Alternate arrangement made finally at City Hotel ruined the trip. Stay at Mahaweli Reach hotel, Kandy View and bath at beach at Galle Boat safari in River Madu Difficulties faced for vegetarian food throughout the trip

I had a good time and found the people very nice, polite & welcoming. I am foodie and was sad to not get an authentic taste of Lankan food. The driver was good, helpful but had his own limitations. It would have been nice if the driver carries that extra ability for customer delight.

Sowmya's 6 days trip to Sri Lanka

The itinerary was good and it set quite some expectation for the trip. Vehicle was good and neat. But the driver was un cooperative and didn't have sufficient knowledge about the locations. Looked like he was exploring the places along with us. We were even charged for parking in Gregory Lake Park which was supposed to be part of the package. The hotel in Nuwara Eliya and in Colombo was sub par and not at all 3 star hotels (Lack of cleanliness, broken furniture, torn and dirty linen, pungent smelling rooms) making our stay unpleasant. The restaurants where we were taken for lunch/dinner by him were worst. We were charged exorbitant prices for all the food items. He didn't help us to negotiate the prices anywhere. The driver was not willing to pick up/ drop as per our timing requirements or convenience. It was as per his convenience. Thus we ended up paying for local conveyance for our usual sight seeing. The prices charged by travel agency for sight seeing activities were over the top high (e.g: Whale watching through agency was 9000/- LKR per head whereas we scouted and arranged a local agent for the same activity and paid 6500/- LKR which included free pick-up and drop and breakfast) Last but not the least, we almost missed our flight to Chennai because of the routes and driving style of the driver. Luckily we had Google Maps and came to know about the alternate highway route which had toll again paid by us. We will never recommend this agency or driver again for our family/friends visiting Sri Lanka. All the places which we added separately that were not part of the itinerary was the most enjoyable experience for us.

Prices of entry tickets for sightseeing should be mentioned in the package so it's easy to calculate the expenditure. Cab driver should have good knowledge of not only fine dining restaurants but also budget restaurants. The train ride through the tea plantation, which was not mentioned as an option in the itinerary

Initially we were suprised to know that itinerary carried by Direct Link cab driver was different than the one finalised by us with Tra vel Triangle, Gurgaon. India. We wasted few hours and finally Direct Link agreed to our itinerary. It will be of great help if a small write up of places with historical background is provided to tourists. The cab driver should be more informative on timings of Museum, Zoos etc., instead of telling the tourists that it is closed after reaching there. About Hotel accommodation barring HOTEL GRAND KHALUNDAWA at Dombulla, it is totally away from Town (about 10 KMs) and it is isolated. OVERALL, THE TRIP IS GOOD AND DRIVER IS VERY GOOD AND WELL BEHAVED.
