I have recently planned a trip to Meghalaya using travel triangle and I was shortly contacted by Furkan from Reify. He was very friendly and patiently heard all of my requirements and preferences. He gave me itinerary for the trip and very quickly accommodated my requested changes. Throughout the trip he was in contact with me and ready to help where ever I wanted. Special mention to our driver Rajiv Boro for being very nice and for patiently showing Meghalaya to us. He never pushed us in terms of time and always was open to sudden changes in our plans. Due to these two people our trip was fun and pleasant. Thanks so much guys! Regards, Rahul

I wanted to share a big thank you for planning and executing our Meghalaya trip(12th March to 18th March) to perfection. Specially want to thank Furkan from Reify for his excellent planning and coordination of the trip. I really appreciate him for the amount of efforts put in by him to plan and customize the trip to our needs which made our trip awesome. The hardwork, dedication and honesty to his work is commendable. There were no issues with the hotels or the hotel reservations. The driver assigned to our trip was also really good and that is one of the most defining factors for a good trip. A special mention to our driver Laitwo for driving exceptionally and also being very polite and helpful throughout the trip. After visiting Meghalaya I feel it is a such a wonderful place it is hard to put accross the beauty experienced in words We had a great experience and would definitely plan another trip with Reify. Recently had memorable trip of Meghalaya. Worth mentioning - 1. The agent Ms Nikitha was so friendly and polite in understanding our need and curating the itenary for us that we felt she is part of our family. Nikitha made perfect plan based on landing time, time available with us, type of people, preferences and choices. She ensured the minimum travel back tracking and maximum utilization of time maintaining comfort. This was value for money 2. Hotels and accommodations were clean and healthy. The staff was polite, food was also good. They all accommodated our last minute needs. 3. The driver Mr Bhabhen was cherry on the cake. He understood the customer and made us comfortable. He used to advise us on food, travel and route. He also accommodated last minute changes in itenary without any cost impact. He was one of the safe drivers I had seen following all rules and keeping cool. I could not see any event where he has seen his own comfort or benefit. The maturity and conduct was very good. Overall, thank you very much for memorable experience.

Harsh's 9 days trip to North East

Not so bad but could be much better, there was lots of miscommunication between the agent and the hotel and car driver. For instance 1) Day 1 we went to Kaziranga, Borgos, we were informed that everything has been booked and paid for but then when we reached at the destination, we had to pay additional charges of 800/- for safari and that too just for a kilometre, for which no receipt was issued. 2. On the itinerary for day 2, we had a wildlife sanctuary scheduled but the driver was not informed of it and we had to skip it because it was not properly planned and we would reached Shilong really late at night in case we had covered it. 3. There was a lot of chaos when we reached Dawki and when we had to travel for Bamboo trek the next day. We travelled on the same route thrice which wasted our time and even the driver became frustrated by it. Though he said that he'll take wherever we'll ask him to but he was really irritated by the fact that he has to drive three times on same route and specially when the area was under construction. 4. Biggest issue we had was when we reached Cherrapunji at 1:00 pm and we had double decker, and rainbow falls to be covered on the same day. When the agent knew that it would take at least 6-7 hours to cover both and it would be a trek, it should have been planned in a way wherein we should have reached Cherrapunji at night a day before so we could have started our trek early morning and could have covered both. But since we reached at 1 in the afternoon, it was not possible to go for rainbow waterfall trek and we had to skip it. Also, it was not informed that rainbow waterfall is in continuation of double decker bridge. 5. I did not like Vintage Inn that was booked in cherrapunji near caves on day 7 of our itinerary. There was no lunch facility when we came back from caves and we had walk all the way to get some food. 6. On the last day of our trip, driver was changed and we got to know this from our driver and agent informed us on Saturday night which was pretty late. 7. Next day, final day we had a checkout at 10 which was properly communicated to the agent and she had to further inform the driver. There was no communication from agent's end to the driver and we were waiting in the hotel lobby till 11:30 which also impacted our itinerary for that day. We had to visit Kamakhya temple and it was not informed that VIP entry is for a limited time and would close at 7:30-8am. When we reached there, it was 6-7 hours of line waiting for darshan. Overall, a lot of communication gap, when agent was pre informed that we are visiting the place for first time, she should have informed about everything in advance so that we could have planned our days accordingly to cover our itinerary. But we had to skip big chunk just because there was no pre information.

We would like to appreciate Ms. Nikitha Chauhan from Reify for extending an outstanding support and cooperation during the planning stage of this trip and even during this trip. Honestly we had got quotations from 3 more travel consultancies and the quotes were more or less similar. The only reason we chose Reify is because of Nikitha’s dedication towards her work, to her organisation, solution seeking nature and honesty. We must have asked her to alter our itinerary couple of times and she always did it with no grudge. We must say this, she is an asset for you organisation so please take good care of her. The driver that was allowed to us, Dharmesh bhai was an amazing person. Excellent driving skills and always punctual. He acted as our local guide as well. Our ratings for all the services that Nikitha Chauvan and driver Dharmesh Baro bhai has extended is 100/100. I believe the rating says it all. Thanks a ton Nikitha and Dharmesh bhai. You have helped us make this a memorable trip.

Good trip arrangements by Indemen travels. Overall would recommend booking a package with them. We booked a 5 day 6 night meghalaya package. Places we visited were great and driver was helpful and ensured that he always stopped in vegetarian restaurant for lunch. Sanjeev was the coordinator from Indemen. Would suggest a better, quicker response. Felt we were chasing them after payment while before payment they were chasing us. At shillong, hotel provided for day 2 was not worth it. Sanjeev got it changed for day 5.

Coming from the west (Australia), the pollution and garbage in India quite confronting; despite repeated visits. The poor air quality and piles of plastic everywhere is disheartening. Meghalaya is cleaner than many other parts of India but it won’t last long at the current rate. Our driver was a delightful man but we had to iron out some issues with punctuality and driving safety. Perhaps I misunderstood some of the arrangements, but I was surprised I needed to explain the itinerary to the driver. I was also surprised to be constantly spending on tickets to access all the so-called included sightseeing, as well as fees for parking and for bringing a camera etc. it adds up over the week. It might be a normal Indian thing but I would have expected the included itinerary to be already paid for. My advice would be to do your research. I was unaware the walk to the double decker bridge involved 7500 steps down and back up again! Stunning though and a very popular trek. It was quite an effort on a hot day. The bamboo trek was also arduous but spectacular and highly recommended. Surprisingly we started and finished the bamboo trek from Shillong when we had already travelled that route earlier. We could have stayed at a homestay in a nearby village and avoided all that time travelling back and forth. Especially since driving in and around Shillong is like being in one giant traffic jam. I don’t mean to sound negative. I actually had a very enjoyable trip. Meghalaya a beautiful place to visit, especially when out of the built up areas. Bamboo trek, visiting the local markets. The beautiful Khasi people. The magnificent and ancient root bridges is several places.

Ms. Nikita Chauhan contacted us with the initial itinerary. She made changes as per our needs and feedback, as we had preselected the list of hotels. She provided us with suggestions on our hotel selections and destination which proved to very accurate and helpful. She helped us finalise the itinerary and confirm the bookings on the same day. Would really recommend her. Special mention for the cab driver for our trip, Mr. Ajmol, he was more eager than us to drive around and show us more and more places. During a couple of days we started from our hotel late, but he still made sure we covered all the points, even if it meant driving till late even beyond dawn. It becomes dark quite early in the evening in Meghalaya. He also halted at really good places for lunch/dinner during our trips.

Meghalaya is a place that shines very well during the season. The lush green valleys, huge waterfalls, and scenic routes to cherrapunjee were missing. Seven sister waterfalls and Dianthlen were dead, and other falls had less flow. To put it, The place felt like Lonavala in Dec. It is supposed to look like this until it starts raining. We were already skeptical about the plan at first when we researched as it was during the dry spell however Shekhar convinced us about the lush fields. I expected great input and honesty from the agent given his astounding experience in the industry and was quite disappointed when we reached there. The overall ratings do say something. You will have the same driver for the whole trip. The driver is jolly and quite knowledgeable about the place and also stopped at good restaurants, however, he seemed quite demotivated during certain days and needed some push from our side if we wanted to see something or stop somewhere. Note we were quite mindful that it wasn't inconvenient for him too. At some point, we had to call up the agent to understand the terms of having a private car. All in all, it felt like we were better off planning the trip on our own. Dont miss Shillong peak, Dawki and mawkdawk view point.!
