1 Flights: Flight booking was OK. Inclusive of Meal flights, option of customer for veg or non-veg to be verified and customer advised. 2 Stay: 3 places of stay at Hanoi/HochiMinh city/Siem Reap was good. 3 Pick up for tours and flights on arrival as well for Departure - Coordinators at places of tours should keep the traveller informed of next day morning pick up details for flights previous day. Tour vans for all tours in Hanoi/HochiMinh/SiemReap picked up without any trouble. 4 Vietnam picking up from/to airports was made as if secrecy has to be maintained with persons picking up not showing their Identity, which is not correct. Are we being kidnapped for secrecy to be maintined. Cambodian coordinator was far better in this aspect. 5 Siem Reap shuttle at cambodia tours were well prepared for their job as well as did not face much problem in the tours of vietnam. 6 VISA: Total mess in the case of Vietnam. Higher level Trip Pro people as well as HTT have taken this aspect very casually, putting the customer to lot of mental agony and frustration. In spite of no.6 above, I sincerely thank Ms.Tanya Malhotra for her sincere effort to help me at every stage for the tour to be completed without hitch in Vietnam and Cambodia. Finally, HTT cannot be a spectator once when the trip organiser is identified and fix dates for activities of getting visa and other matters to be organised before starting of the trip. Hotel in Hanoi was little bit congested. Otherwise whole trip was a Nice experience. Tour operator Henry was very prompt. Answered every question quickly. Tour guide in Hanoi has to improve his English language skill. It was very difficult his words. Rest tour guides had good language skills. Would like to travel again with S Viet.

After a few years when I decided for a solo international trip again, I’d nothing but Travel Triangle to opt based on a few reviews from my friends. Karan from TT took care of every need and was always there to update or upgrade my changes. So via TT I got many quotes. Few were super economical while few with moderate budgets. What made me opt for S Viet Travel was their professionalism and detailing in every itinerary and the super girl Hannah behind the planning and making that work in my budget. Thank you Hannah for your flawless planning. I had few 11th hour changes due to weather conditions and Hannah took care of everything and made sure my day wasn’t tossed even for a minute. It was indeed a memorable birthday I celebrated in Vietnam & Cambodia. The entire team of drivers and guides are super punctual. The drivers and the guides speak super good English (“super good” is because English being a foreign language for them). The guides are witty, funny and filled with knowledge. They answered me all my questions to my satisfaction as I was interested in the history of the country. The hotels and their staff are friendly. And I mean it when I say friendly, as they hotel even surprised me with a cake on my birthday! Well, I can just keep writing for them. But this one line should say it all: “these guys are the best! Ask for Karan at TT and Hannah at S Viet Travel” RECOMMENDED. Period. Just few days there. And made few friends for life.

The trip was organised as planned. Lucy of S Viet was quick to respond to any queries and to sort out any issues we faced while on tour. A bit more information sharing upfront would be more useful, instead of us asking the tour timings everyday. The Pacific Angkor hotel at Siam Reap was quite nice, but it is not suitable for vegetarians. There was nothing on the breakfast for vegetarians except fruits and bread, as even the Soup and Porridge was non-veg. Also the hotel is near Airport and far away from city, that we had to pay for TukTuk more than the cost of dinner everyday that we stayed there, as the hotel restaurant options were very limited.

We had an amazing trip with the help of Realistic Asia . Words cannot describe how happy we were with Realistic Asia’s trip planning. Shadow , our travel advisor for the vietnam trip made sure we had a pleasant experience. His knowledge of the local area is unparalleled and he took extra care about our food suggestions given the fact we were vegetarians. He was so patient accommodating to our needs and no one can match his hospitality and expertise . I strongly recommend Shadow and his team in Realistic Asia for your south east Asia trips .
