Lakshmanan's 10 days trip to Bhutan

Fantastic Trip. Driver, Ugyen was excellent ! Helped us with all our wishes, be it finding the right place to eat or shop or visit (based on our requests). Guide was good. Hotels were good and extremely clean (like in all parts of Bhutan) ! Bhutanese are very nice people , respectful and helping. In fact, we felt pampered during our 10 day tour. We followed the itinerary and made minor modifications based on our pref. If there is one improvement area - I would say Gaikling Guest House, Phobjikha did not have hot water in the bathroom, when we visited. Learn there was a power problem the previous day due to heavy snowfall causing disruption. However, we did have had room heaters, lights and food was available in the restaurant. Staff was very courteous too and apologetic for non-availability of hot water in bathroom. Overall a very nice experience !!

Had a great overall experience with Bhutan INC. The guide (Tashi) and the driver (Sharan) were especially very courteous and well-mannered. The trip went as per the planned itinerary and we covered all places listed in the itinerary and 1-2 additional places as well. Overall, the hotels were nice too and we received some amazing hospitality particularly in Hotel Mantra Home, Thimphu. But, it wasn’t all perfect as there was a hiccup with the Hotel Central in Phuentsholing which gave our room to someone else and offered us a room which we didn’t like at all. The room that they offered was in a different wing and wasn’t connected with the restaurant via stairs/ elevator. So, we had to waste quite a lot of time in getting accommodation in a different hotel in Phuentsholing, which we ultimately liked a lot. So, all in all, it was a wonderful experience with some really amazing and hospitable people. Visiting Chimi Lhakang, stay in Phobjikha, hike to Tiger’s Nest, vegetable market in Punakha, sending a post card from Thimphu to our home in India, and many more

Overall experience was great. KNG was efficient, punctual and eager to help. our guide, Soham, and driver, Kuenga were knowledgeable and provided great support on the trip. There were a few points of improvement. 1. Need a slightly larger car than Creta for 3 adults (11 year old is not really a child in size!). 2. Punakha hotel was not good in terms of hygiene or location.

We have traveled so many places with various travel agents inside and outside India in the past but undoubtedly this is our best trip ever with Trip Trova. This is the first time, we have chosen Trip Trova and have interacted with Mr. Nitesh, the owner of Trip Trova. He is very prompt, polite and accommodative. He has customized 9 days and 8 nights tour for two of us all in 3-star hotels, with an excellent guide (Mr. Ugyen) and a friendly, efficient driver (Mr. Sangey). The complete tour was flawless without a single hiccup at any point. All the hotels were excellent, the food was superb, the service and behavior of both the guide and the driver were awesome. We will be looking forward to have many more trips with Trip Trova in near future and will be happy to interact with Mr. Nitesh. I will recommend Trip Trova to everybody who wants to visit Bhutan in reasonable cost with maximum comfort.

Bhutan trip was peaceful and mystic journey, had a peaceful week with less of traffic, less of panics, less of stress, less of nuisance. All this possible because of our travel agent (Bhutan GBS), who made our trip hassle free, thanks to Sanjeev (Travel Agent owner) for arranging all in advance, Thanks to Sharab (Driver Friend) for smooth driving and his patience , Thanks to Yeshey Dorji (Super Guide), who have knowledge on Culture and Birds. Thanks to Bhutan Government for preserving the Nature, Culture and promoting their Nation and Buddhism. It was our 10th Wedding anniversary, GBS arranged a surprise cake for us, which was a sweet gesture and made our anniversary memorable.

Mrs. Khinamaya from Bhutan Inc has given very good very competitive package. Prior to booking, she has given all information patiently, supported throughout the journey. Regarding itinerary, only scope for improvement is haa valley view point was not covered(as it was mentioned in our itinerary), guide told that there is no such thing like haa valley view point. Otherwise all view points are covered. Regarding Hotels, all hotels are good, with enough amenities, good hygiene, tasty breakfast and ofcourse good hospitality. Only scope for improvement - Hotel in Siliguri is too poor in hygeine and in service. At this price , a good hotel may be found , even if hotel has less ameneties , good hygiene is essential, i think. Damchen resort in punakha is good but room size is too small. Regarding our travel and guide Timely Pickup and drop, comfortable vehicle. The guide, named Bijay, is humble, very knowledgeable, helpful and giving truthful information most of the times Only scope for improvement is changing tyres of vehicle can be done by driver, Sandip, before scheduled travel so tourist don't have to wait. InPhobjika, view from the hotel Yue Loki, was superb... Tiger nest hike was memorable...

I had booked the trip from Traveltriangle for Bhutan. Bhutan GBS tours and travel was our travel agent. Sunjive from gbs tours was so polite, helpful and professional in arranging all trip details and also customized my itinerary as per liking and choices. Tour guide and driver given for the tour were excellent. I received such small small details from the tour guide Gyelshen about Bhutanese culture, nature, history as well as geography. Driver Sangey was also very safe, especially given tough hilly terrains of Bhutan. Hotel arrangements were really well made, and travel owner Sunjive made sure to attend all the queries before and during the trip as well. Would really recommend GBS tours if you wish to have Bhutan trip, be as a couple, family or group. Best memories of this trip, trekking to the Tiger's nest, listening to its history and other small details from tour guide, who is hiking along with you. Visiting the Dochula pass,in windy weather to miss the Mountains view, but tour guide made sure to take back the next day, with clear weather,so this view is not missed. It was breathetaking, and nice gesture from GBS tour team to stop in the way for this.

Jolliffe's 8 days trip to Bhutan

We had a good holiday in Bhutan...While it definitely could have been better. Sharing my inputs/feedback Great Experience -Both our guide/driver / assistants (Barun/Kado) were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and supportive. -They understood our requirements and did what was required to meet the expectations - Barun Wangkley ensured we experienced 'local' specialties (Ex: Hot stone Bath / Dinner @ a Home stay), which was really good and thoughtful. - Kado as a guide was always there to assist, Including helping my wife make it to Tiger's nest and back...wouldn't have been possible without his support and patience -They (Barun and Kado) were patient with us and answered all our queries about their country and culture. - Full Credit to Barun for speaking with Bhutan Olympic Committee to move my Marathon registration to 2021 (Else I would have lost approx 7000 Rupees) Not so good - We started from Phuentsholing Approx 2hours late due to non-availabilty of hotel voucher for Immigration - Due to confusion with the travel agent, I missed the Bhutan International Marathon...This aspect should have been managed better - Due to the confusion/time lost, we could not visit Haa valley, which was part of the Itinerary...Were advised by Barun there is snow/ice @ Chellela pass and therefore not visiting Haa might be the right thing to do from a safety perspective, hence we agreed...The travel agent should have advised that there is a possibility of snow/ice at the time of drafting the itinerary - We could have done more sightseeing with better utilization of time/ coordination (We did no sightseeing in Thimpu) - Hotels were changed multiple times post the circulation of the itinerary. -On our trip back, we requested for a change.i.e. stay last night @ Siliguri rather than Phuentsholing (Given the long drive for an early morning flight)...I agree It was a last minute request from my side just the night before leaving(Post a good suggestion by Barun)...However getting the last night stay at Siliguri was a bad experience and ultimately had to shell out some money from my side... I'm not looking for a refund, however want the feedback shared with the travel agent. Totally understand no could have anticipated Corona and the confusion that resulted from it...but some of the things listed above could definitely have managed better. On a rating perspective I'll rank the overall trip a Generous 4 Star out of 05...This rating is totally because of Batun Wanglay and Kado...They did well! Am happy to use their services again....With the right amount of improvement.
