Do the restaurants accept credit cards in Ladakh?

Although credit cards are accepted in most of the restaurants and hotels in Ladakh, 2 percent tax is deducted. It is best to carry cash with you at all times for problem free payments.

What kind of clothes are to be packed for a trip to Leh Ladakh?

Casual and comfortable day travel outfits like T-shirts, shorts, jogging pants, etc are perfect for daytime traveling but in the evening, since it gets cold, jackets and sweaters become a necessity. During the monsoon months of June and July, rain or snowfall is a common occurrence so raincoats and waterproof shoes are a must.

THINGS THAT NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION: 1. On the 4th day, my oxygen saturations dropped to critically low levels in Pangong Tso. Despite of timely informing our travel agent Rinky, we were not given any hotel stay refund for Tso moriri stay as we had to cut short our trip on medical grounds. 2. Given the tough conditions, you should provide required oxygen cylinders and first aid in the car and it should be a part of the package. This not being a part of the package can be really fatal and life-threatening for tourists who rely solely on your travel agents for the planning and best vacation experience. 3. Nubra Valley's camp service was terrible. Food was stale. No warm water. Only eggs and toast for breakfast. No tea options. This should never be recommended to any customer. Positive Things 1. The driver was REALLY NICE. his name was Mingur and he helped us to the best he could. Would totally recommend him as Driver. 2. Hotels in Leh were good. Food was great. Would recommend them.

All arrangements were just perfectly made, starting from the bookings till the last day of our trip. Would like to thank Abhishek for helping us arrange a perfect trip. Also like to mention about our driver Akbar Ali who has taken care of us throughout to make our trip memorable. We had a great experience at Tukchu homestay and hotel Layul and both the Apple nubra cottage and goodluck camp that was arranged for us. All their services were really excellent and people were very helping in nature. This trip was one of our best experience .Thanks to one and all who helped us in making this trip most memorable one.

This one was a decision taken in haste but it only got better! It was my daughter's birthday so we were thinking of celebrating it offsite and decided to go to leh and Ladakh which we were planning for quite a while but didn't know where to start so randomly booked the air tickets with absolutely no plan in mind. And then we came across with Yugul, from Travel Triangle at just the right time. From our itinerary to our accomodation and food all was taken care of by then. There were places they suggested and we approved, all well within our budget. No hiccups whatsoever in the trip. Although a few of us gave in to the altitude sickness but luckily we were prepared. All safe and sound, had the best scenery, sites, and rides starting from Leh > Kargil - Drass > Nubra Valley > Pangong > back to Leh. Missed Tuktuk though, was a bit tight schedule owing to long drives and lots of travel. All in all it was a 7 day trip from Delhi. And no complaints with any services we required. Quite satisfied with the planning and execution from the company and of course, we had Yugul all the time available for any assistance we might have needed him to address. Needless to mention name of Mr Stanzine our companion as Driver and Guide for entire six days, was too sincere and knowledgeable and cooperative. All accommodations suggested by Yugal were very nice and worth staying. To be very honest Yugal’s communication skill and behaviour impressed me so much that I will remain in touch with him for my future upcoming trips. Thoroughly enjoyed with family! Thank you for making it a memorable one, Yugul and Travel Triangle. All places were beautiful and worth seeing, the huge landscapes and Pangong lake particularly and their scenic beauties have stolen our hearts

Loved the trip and the arrangements done. Its just that the driver is not ready to be there even till 7 o clock in the evening. He was ready to leave us in the mid of market and was asking us to come to hote via cab. If we were gonna use the cab, what was the point of having a car? Very bad experience wrt to the driver. Pangong was awesome.

We had a great trip for Leh Ladhak. Service provided by Milli Tour and Travel was excellent and agent was available all the time. I faced 1-2 concerns related to sight seeing coverage but they resolved them immediately. Leh and Nubra hotels were good. Due to less facilities in Pangong, hotel was average. All in all l, we had a great experience. View of Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake

Our trip was a success thanks to LazyYatra. We were able to visit all the places in our itinerary thanks to the weather at that time. Our first stay was in Taka Residency in Leh. So it is a nice hotel. The owner is present their most of the time. So in case you have any difficulties you can talk to him directly. Our room was good. Their was a terrace near our room which had a very good view of the mountains. Food was Ok. Most of the time it was veg. They have an kitchen where they prepare the food. Food choices are limited though. Staff is very cooperative. Our second stay was Shyok Camp Nubra. The tent accomodation was good. We stayed their for one day and food was ok and veg. Camel ride in Nubra valley was a very good experince. Our Third stay was at Pangong in Ladakh Summer Camp. It says the place is in Spangmik but it is not. It is located well before Spangmik where all other tents are available and its google maps location is also wrong. Tents their were ok but they don't protect you from the cold, but they provide you blankets. Food options were a little better in the dinner menu. If you have a breathing problem, please don't forget to carry a Oxygen Cylinder when you visit this place, which i did for my mom as she is little old, its easily available in Leh. So overall it was a very good experience, we were able to conquer the mighty himalayas and had a pleasant stay everywhere and reached back home safely. Special thanka to our driver Dawa Tashi who drove well through the treacherous roads of mighty Khardungla and Changla Pass and made it possible to see all places in our Itinerary. Thanks to Yugal of LazyYatra for making all the bookings. If you are booking with travel traingle I would recommend you do have a look at his quotes before booking with anyone. They are cheap and offer more value for money. Thanks, Cheers !
