What Is The Best Time To Take A Malaysia Tour?

The ideal time to plan a Malaysia Trip depends upon your personal preferences. Malaysia experiences an equatorial climate because of its proximity to the equator. Most parts of Malaysia are marked by an equatorial climate that makes days hotter than nights. Malaysia remains hot and humid all year. Since it is also located close to the water body, the evenings are generally marked by a cool and pleasant breeze. The temperature varies between a range of 20°C and 30°C during a year. Although Malaysia is close to the equator, the temperature does not remain too high, and the highlands experience a cooler temperature.

Summer Season (June to August)

The summer season in Malaysia begins in the month of June and lasts until the month of August. These three months are marked by high temperatures. While the highest temperature may rise up to 32°C, the lowest temperature, on average, remains at 25°C. The months of June and July receive the least amount of rainfall as compared to August. As the weather remains dry, tourists can enjoy water sports and other adventures. If you are looking forward to taking part in some of the water adventure activities, you may plan a trip to Malaysia during this time. One of the important festivals of Malaysia, the Gawai festival takes place during the month of June. It would be a good opportunity to be a part of it if you were here during the summer season, and Malaysia Packages can help you make the most of this vibrant season.

Autumn Season (September - November)

The monsoon season in Malaysia falls in the months of September to November. The lowest temperature during this period remains at 25°C, while the highest is at 31°C. With the high temperature, rainfall also takes place during this season. This is the time when the water bodies and the forests look splendid. See the refreshed look along with the lush green environment with the Malaysia travel package. During this season, most adventure seekers abstain from planning a Malaysia Tour. This makes the country less crowded, and you can enjoy a peaceful vacation. Also, carry an umbrella along, as showers are expected for most of the season. Some of the best places to visit during this time are museums and beaches. While you can take a day tour of the museums, beaches must be visited before it gets dark. Another happening event, the international music festival, also takes place during this time.

Winter Season (December - February)

The winter season in Malaysia starts in December and continues until February. During the winter season, the temperature is recorded between 24°C and 32°C. Unlike the regular winters, winter in Malaysia is marked by heavy rainfall during the days and evenings. The temperature also drops due to the showers. If you are planning a visit during these months, include a visit to the west coast of Malaysia in your travel itinerary. During the winter season in Malaysia, Christmas and the New Year are celebrated with much enthusiasm. Other important festivals include Hari Raya Thaipusam and the Chinese New Year. This season is also a great time to embark on a rejuvenating, luxury vacation with the help of Malaysia Tour Packages, making it a memorable winter getaway.

Islands like Penang and Langkawi on the west part of the country are better enjoyed during the winters between December and February. How do I plan my Malaysia trip?

Malaysia is home to numerous stunning cities and if you wish to capture the best experiences then you need to plan your itinerary smartly. You can spend a day or two at Kuala Lumpur followed by other popular tourist destinations such as Taman Negara, the Cameron Highlands, Penang, and Ipoh.

What are the best Malaysia tour packages offered by TravelTriangle?

How should tourists dress up while vacationing in Malaysia?

When in Malaysia, tourists are advised to dress decently. Exposing is a big no-no here. Being an Islamic nation, the religion suffuses the dress code. Torsos should be kept covered. Figure-hugging clothes are often frowned upon, particularly for women.

What are the packing essentials to visit Malaysia?

Packing essentials to Malaysia are -

  • Light clothing - Pack light clothing, preferably cotton that wicks away moisture and allows you to breath. Also pack a light rain jacket or windcheater that keeps you dry in times of downpours. Also pack rain boots that help you easily slog through the mud.
  • Mosquito Nets and Repellent – Generously smear mosquito repellent all over your body to ward off these insects. A mosquito net provides an extra layer of protection to keep you from various other insects of this tropical region.
  • Sunscreen – At all times, keep sunscreen handy and apply as and when required. Most especially, when you are on the beach or strolling out, apply generous amount of the sun guard on your skin.
  • Shoes without laces or buckles – At several paces, travelers have to take off their shoes before entering. So, make sure to wear easy to slip on and off shoes.
  • Hammock – Carry a hammock to relax when you are spending most of your time outside.

Can tour packages to Malaysia be customized?

Yes, tour packages to Malaysia can easily be customized by TravelTriangle. The most popular customization requests include adding more days to the tour, adding a few more destinations within Malaysia like Kuala Lumpur tour, Langkawi tour and changing the booked hotels to something more preferred by the traveler. Just make sure to share any such requests with the travel agent well before time, so that there are no last-minute hassles.

How can travelers make payments in Malaysia?

In Malaysia, credit and debit cards are a great option for making all sorts of payments at small and large stores, shopping malls, emporiums, airports, restaurants and hotels. For the smaller street markets and kiosks, making cash payments in the Malaysian currency, the Malaysia Ringgit, is ideal. You can also take travelers cheques with you, but you will have to encash it before making payments with it. There are plenty of local and foregin banks that would happily encash traveler cheques.

How can travelers commute locally in Malaysia?

Malaysia, divided by the South China Sea into East Malaysia and Peninsular Malaysia, has a lot of options for traveling within the two land masses. In Melaka and Georgetown, one can hire trishaws, available at all corners, as well as private taxis for getting from one place to another. In addition, there are local buses in most big cities, as well as a monorail in Kuala Lumpur. However, for those looking to travel from one East Malaysia to Peninsular Malaysia, or vice versa, the ferry is the best option.

I had booked my honeymoon package with the Sharing Travels. The travel itinerary was good as shared before. Langkawi was excellent but KL wasn't up to the expectations. It felt like a waste of time and money. KL can be explored on a self-basis much better than taking a package. Ginting highlands are good for kids and not for couples. The city tour was worst when the cab driver himself was amazed why such an odd time slot was given. Otherwise felt relief of mind by booking the package. More options should have been given to choose from and a travel guide should have been welcomed

1. Hotel charged us additionally for early check in and there were no room available in the category we booked. So we had to upgrade room by paying extra. It added cost to our trip than what we expected. 2. Timing was not as per the itinerary. 3. The agent was not helpful when there was a change in flight timings by the airline. They were not even reachable. They did not communicate the change in flight time though they had received the communication via email from the airlines. We had to rush to the airline counter and request to the change flight . 4. Communication was difficult with the drivers

Amazing Malaysia Trip Arranged by Travel Triangle and Travel2Agent! We recently had a family trip from Bengaluru to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, arranged through Travel Triangle in collaboration with Travel2Agent. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic! Special thanks to our consultant, Mr. Ronit, whose meticulous planning and attention to detail made the trip smooth and enjoyable. The itinerary was well-balanced, allowing us to explore all the major highlights—Kuala Lumpur City, Putrajaya, Batu Caves, Genting Highlands, and the beautiful zoo with pandas and penguins, as well as the bird park. Each destination was thoughtfully chosen, and the logistics were seamless. Mr. Ronit was always available to assist with any queries and ensured that everything went according to plan. Thanks to him, our family had a stress-free and memorable vacation. I highly recommend Travel Triangle and Travel2Agent for their excellent service. Ashis's 10 days trip to Malaysia

My experiences: 1. Flight - How can an international flight booked back to back, I don't understand. The gap between both flights is 1hr 30 min. While going from Hyd to Langkawi stop over at Kualalumpur was 1.30 hrs. Now late departure of flight from hyd was delayed due to rain by an hr. At Kualalumpur one has to pass immigration & then find out which gate the flight is taking off within 30 min. Which level one has to go there is no one to help out. In fact I had to run & was the last person to enter the plane . Similarly while returning same thing happened. The flight took off late & reached Kualumpur at 20.25 pm local time. Flight departure from Kualalumpur is 20.50. practically I had to run to reach the gate. Now after reaching & when about to board the captain on technical ground didn't allow flight to take off. It's further delayed now. Don't know at what hr I'll reach Hyderabad. 2. Malaysia tour- Your DMC, Deepak has planned my trip wrongly. There was no free day in Kualalumpur. In fact if you see his itenary made for me Petrojaya tour etc was not there . As a result he kept a free day in Kualalumpur unnecessary at my cost - hotel stay & food . This was not acceptable to me.I had already intimated Nishita & Sailja of House of travels. In fact with their intervention on the last day before departing to Bali, Petrojaya tour was arranged hastily. The driver initially told me he is scheduled for airport drop only. But only after I spoke to Sailja, she managed to instruct concerned agent & hastily completed the site visit. Since the driver requested me to co-operate as he had a pick up from airport I hastily took some pics & left for airport. Bali - No issues at all. Enjoyed my stay. Suggestion - Henceforth while booking international flights do have a time gap of at 3 hrs for unknown eventualities. Further for a new person finding out the gate no where language is an issue becomes a problem . Distance between arrival & departure dates are quite long distance not to speak of immigration formalities. Apart from above trip is excellent.
