4-Day Kerala Tour: Munnar to Alleppey with Houseboat Stay 4 Days & 3 Nights

When you arrive at Cochin airport, our guide will meet you and take you on a scenic drive to Munnar, about 140 kilometers away, which takes around 4.5 hours. On the way, enjoy the beautiful Cheyappara and Valara Waterfalls. Munnar is called the green paradise of Kerala because of its endless tea and spice plantations and amazing plants and animals. After reaching your hotel, check in and explore the local market for some shopping. End the day with a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.

Start your day with a tasty breakfast before exploring Munnar’s famous tea gardens. Visit the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the peaceful views of the green hills. Next, go to Eravikulam National Park to see the rare Nilgiri Tahr. For lunch, try some local food at a nearby restaurant (extra cost). In the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, and other local attractions. In the evening, relax and spend another night at your hotel.

After breakfast, travel to Alleppey, which is about 160 kilometers and takes around 5 hours. By noon, check into your houseboat for a special 22-hour cruise through Kerala’s calm backwaters. The houseboat has everything you need, bedrooms with bathrooms, a balcony, a dining area, and a kitchen. As you float along, enjoy the beautiful scenery and see how local people live. Have meals on board, including lunch, dinner, and breakfast, along with tea or coffee with snacks. Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the peaceful surroundings while spending the night on the houseboat.

Start your day with breakfast on the houseboat, then check out and travel to Cochin, about 70 kilometres away, which takes around 2 hours. On the way, stop at the peaceful Marari Beach. Explore Cochin’s famous historical sites like Marine Drive, the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, and the unique Chinese Fishing Nets. Visit Fort Kochi Beach, surrounded by coconut trees and gentle waves, for a relaxing end to your trip. Finally, you will be dropped off at Cochin airport for your onward journey.
