      FAQs About Kerala Tour Packages

How much does the Kerala trip cost?

The average cost of a Kerala trip will depend upon the number of people travelling, the type of accommodation (luxury, budget, family), and the number of days you plan to spend at the destination. For 2 nights and 3 days in Kerala, you can end up shelling out INR 9,000 whereas if you are planning a long trip of around 4 nights and 5 days (for example our Kerala 5 days package), you may spend INR 13,000.

How many days are enough for Kerala?

If you are planning a short weekend getaway in Kerala to cover a few major travel destinations, a Kerala 5 days package can help you get a vibe of this state. The alternative is a long escapade to immerse yourself in the culture for which we recommend a 6 to 9-day trip in which you can explore multiple destinations and travel slowly to enjoy the pace and the journey better.

How can I plan 5 days in Kerala?

Check out this travel itinerary to get an idea about your Kerala trip:

Day 1: Arrive at Cochin Airport, get transferred to Munnar, witness Cheeyappara and Kallar waterfalls en route, check-in at the hotel and relax for the day
Day 2: Head out for Munnar sightseeing, visit attractions like Eravikulam National Park, Tea Museum, Rose Garden, Photo Point, Mattupetty Dam, Elephant Arrival Point, and Echo Point
Day 3: Go for a jeep safari in Periyar National Park, visit Periyar Lake, enjoy bamboo rafting
Day 4: Head towards Alleppey, enjoy a houseboat stay
      Day 5: Departure

What should I pack for the trip?

While on tour, you should always pack comfortable clothing. We recommend everyone to pack an extra pair of good shoes. Weather may change suddenly, so we also suggest you to carry a pair of warm clothing.

Are houseboats in Kerala safe to stay?

Yes, most of the houseboats are totally safe. Always make sure to check out basic amenities on the boat before checking-in. Avoid backwaters cruise in the monsoon season in Kerala.

Do I need a visa to travel there?

Yes, you need a visa if you are travelling from an foreign country.

The trip to Kerala was one of the best experiences of the year! The arrangements made by Mr. Rahul from Explore World (Travel Triangle) made the journey seamless and enjoyable, except for the boat house experience, which fell short of expectations. The boat could have been better maintained and more comfortable. That said, the other venues, locations, and accommodations were amazing. A special mention goes to the driver arranged for us, who made the trip even more memorable with excellent service. Looking forward to planning more trips in the future!

We went to Kerela from 10 Sept 2023 to 15 Sept 2023. It was our first booking with travel triangle. Our travel agency Namaskaram travels had made all the arrangements up to the mark as discussed. There were some booking related issues during the trip, however our travel agent Naveen was very vigilant and provided instant support as and when required. Due to this overall trip experience was smooth. Our driver Ali was also co-operative when we had to cover one additional place with some reasonable charges. He communicated with us in english and hindi. The important highlight of the trip was Allepey houseboat. It was very nice and spacious. The chef and caption both were very friendly and the lunch was also very good on the houseboat. Overall the trip experience was superb. Jatayu earth Centre, Munroe island boating, kolukumalai peak, Rajamalai National park, periyar tiger reserve, Allepey houseboat

Hotels of munnar and thekkady were good. But our group as a whole was not satisfied with the houseboat in alleyppey. We were hoping for a better houseboat and service than what we received. Food, although was good, was limited in menu and some people wished they were given options to choose from meals. Rest of the trip was good. Cab driver was really nice and helpful. Some locations and food places he took us to showed he took care about our trip and and not just focused on his job. Some of the sightings on munnar and thekkady were very good.

It was a good start of tour. But hotel at Thekkdy was pathetic. No restaurant service. Driver refused cab service for dinner ( Cab for dinner was agreed by travel agent). This hotel had no hot water supply. Took bucket to provide hot water. Then breakfast was horrible. Hotel in munnar was good. And houseboat was also good. Before suggesting hotel please ensure they have clean towels. Overall good as we adjusted to all adversaries. We enjoyed our trip. Rest of the things were smooth.

oh they have a fantastic staff, Priyanka and Amit i interacted with (Funday Holidays). They will be with you right from the beginning till the trip ends, its not just they book your package as per the requirements, they also take care that properties and the itinerary is treating you how you expected and they will try their best to meet your requirements. I am definitely going to recommend this (already have done so) to my friends and families. Thanks for wonderful experience Amit, priyanka and Mr. Biju ( Our cabbie). Biju is a artist, knowledgeable, very flexible as and when required. and a amazing person. Best driver they say he is. Truly he must be i feel. My trip was 4 nights and 5 days, this included stay at premium resorts (best in the town) plus two times meal (recommended for outside travelers, it will be cheaper and better convenient) plus cab from pick up to drop Kochi (pick up from airport and railway station)-Munnar (2N)- Thekkady (1N) - Allepey (1N) -kochi (railway station drop) Funday Holiday justify their name, keep up the good work towards customers.

It was very good experience since the day I started planning my trip. I was planning for New Year's Eve, so it was difficult to find good stays but Travel Triangle partner found good and cost efficient plan within short span of time. Special kudos to Pallavi Pandey from Travel Unbounded who managed to get bookings within few hours before the hotels got sold out. The driver was extremely friendly and knew his job well. I hope to plan more trips in future with Travel Triangle.
