5-Day Kerala Adventure: Munnar, Thekkady, and Alleppey 5 Days & 4 Nights

Upon arriving at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, guests were warmly greeted and began a scenic four-hour drive to Munnar, covering around 130 km. Along the way, they admired the beauty of Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls and explored the Flora N Fauna Munnar Eco Park. After a refreshing day surrounded by nature, they checked into their hotel for a peaceful overnight stay in the hills.

After a hearty breakfast, guests set out to explore Munnar’s scenic charm. They visited the Tata Tea Museum to learn about tea-making, admired the lush plantations, and spotted the rare Nilgiri Tahr at Eravikulam National Park. The day continued with peaceful views at Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake, ending with a stroll through the colourful Munnar Rose Garden before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, guests travelled 95 km to Thekkady, a journey of about three hours through scenic landscapes. Upon arrival, they explored the Periyar Tiger Reserve with a boat ride on Periyar Lake or a bus safari, spotting wildlife in their natural habitat. In the evening, they enjoyed traditional Kalaripayattu and Kathakali performances before checking into their hotel for a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by nature.

After breakfast, guests travelled 140 km to Alleppey, a journey of around four hours. Upon arrival, they boarded a private houseboat and cruised through the calm backwaters, enjoying onboard meals and warm hospitality. As the boat glided past quiet canals and village scenes, they soaked in the peaceful atmosphere and spent a restful night surrounded by serene waters.

On the final day, guests checked out from the houseboat after breakfast and travelled to Cochin for a brief city tour. They explored Fort Kochi, Mattancherry Palace, and the Jewish Synagogue, and admired the Chinese Fishing Nets and St. Francis Church. After soaking in the city’s rich heritage, they were transferred to Cochin Airport or Railway Station, carrying unforgettable memories of Kerala.
