Imran's 6 days trip to Kerala

House boat in aleppey was a big disappointment, what we see in pictures and what we recieved is totally different. There were six families in sharing boat and the only 3 staff who don't understand English or Hindi. The food provided was bad and by the time we went for taking food some items were over . The driver: his duty of dropping at the required place was done promptly. We had a kid of 5 who was having vomiting sensation due to the ghat road, irrespective of noticing this he didn't halt anywhere. His primary duty was to drive non stop n drop us. Aranyaka Resort was good.

More than a review it is a constructive feedback. Travel triangle might want to enhance their work force to attend to the customer calls in emergency. I would say my experience with travel triangle as a platform was not so rewarding. Regarding the travel agent. They are a new team, who are learning with time. Our group was probably the first time the travel agents were handling a booking of this scale. With the initial hiccup of erroneous booking in a substandard hotel, they were quick to rectify their mistake and book an alternative better property. Special kudos to Madam Ritu Patra from Sunshine Vacations and Tourism, who was constantly in touch with us to make sure that our journey was going fine and was hassle free. However, I felt that there needs to be a better communication between the travel agent and the customer. A few instances: 1) We were not aware about the timings of availability of Chef at the Hotel in Cherai and Houseboat. The menu was limited. Though the property in Cherai, Sapphire Club Beach Resort, was excellent in terms of stay. The best part in House Boat was the food. 2) We were not aware about unavailability of Dinner facility in 'Hostess Thekkady' on Diwali evening. You don't want such hassles on a trip with elderly people along. Another important feedback is that, I would suggest guests to go for a good resort/ hotel in Alleppey instead of overnight stay at the House Boat. The quality of furnishing and Linen is not upto the mark in a typical Deluxe House Boat. Instead, one can choose evening and and morning rides to experience the backwaters. I too learnt as a guest. I would suggest travellers to research their stay arrangements adequately to have clarity on facilities they can expect at various properties. Thanks Waterfalls in Munnar, Stay at Cardamom County at Thekkady, Stay at Cherai Beach

I liked- the hotels. The itinerary. I didn't like- the unprofessional attitude shown by Mamta, the late responses by the team at travel unbounded and the no response by the travel triangle team. The cab driver was quite average too. He didn't give any worthy recommendation and the ones he gave- Jeep Safari, Alleppey long boat tour were very heavily priced.
