7-Day Kerala Journey: Temples, Beaches & Backwaters 7 Days & 6 Nights

When you arrive at Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station, our representative will welcome you. Check into your hotel and get ready to explore Trivandrum. Visit the beautiful Shree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, then see the historic artifacts at Napier Museum. Take a walk through Trivandrum Zoo, one of the oldest in India. In the evening, relax at Shangumugham Beach. Return to your hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Kovalam, a famous beach town. Check into your resort near the beach. Spend the day exploring the three beaches: Lighthouse Beach, where you can climb the lighthouse for amazing sea views; Hawah Beach, perfect for walking and enjoying local life; and the quieter Samudra Beach, great for relaxing and watching the sunset. You can also try Ayurvedic massages or water sports. Return to your resort for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Varkala, a town famous for its cliffs and beaches. Check into your hotel by the beach. Explore Varkala Cliff and Beach, where you can walk along the cliffs with cafés and shops. Visit the old Janardhana Swamy Temple and the Sivagiri Mutt. Spend the evening at a cliffside café or take a relaxing walk on the beach. Overnight stay in Varkala.

After breakfast, travel to Alleppey, famous for its backwaters. Visit the Mullakkal Temple and enjoy a calm cruise through Kuttanad, the 'Rice Bowl of India', and the vast Vembanad Lake. Relax at Alleppey Beach or the quiet Marari Beach. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and stay overnight in Alleppey.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check into your hotel and visit Periyar National Park to see the animals and plants. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake and explore nearby places like Spicewalk, Thekkady Rose Park, and Navarsa Kathakali Centre. End the day with a visit to Shri Mangala Devi Temple before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, spend the day sightseeing in Munnar. Start with Mattupetty Lake and Dam, a lovely picnic spot, and enjoy a Shikara boat ride. Visit Echo Point for beautiful views, then explore the tea gardens and the Tea Museum. Don’t miss the elephant ride and a trip to Eravikulam National Park to see the rare Nilgiri Thar. Return to your hotel in Munnar for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Munnar and drive to Cochin. Upon arrival, you will be taken to the airport for your flight home, carrying wonderful memories of your Kerala trip.
